I think a bear with cubs would be very precarious, a gorilla avoidant, the lion isn't so noble, as a jaguar would attempt on it, and an anaconda would just be like, "hello darkness my old friend". But I bet the thermal signature off the jacobson organ from the snake would make it slip back into the water.

Bear, easily. They get underestimated because they're fat and stupid looking, but the big ones can absolutely frick shit up.

They are also kind of lazy tempermented alot of the time.

I doubt you could ever get this close to wild lions and live to tell about it. Bears are pretty chill.

Gorillas can't kill anything except the snake, if the snake is non-venomous it can't kill shit.

If the bear and the lion are similar sizes I'd say the lion wins, because it's more geared for predator on predator fighting (thick fur on neck longer claws/teeth), of course if the bear is significantly bigger it'll win, but with high dif.

Brown bears definiteoy beat lions, it's Siberian Tigers that give them problems.

Cave lions actually used to prey on cave bear, both being larger than their modern counterparts, but a brown bear averages about 800 lbs minimum and an african lion is like half that, now a lion vs a black bear would be a fairer fight since they weigh similarly.

King Frederick I of Sweden apparently pitted a huge lion against a bear in a pit and it won, but you never really get the true sizes of these animals, of course a bear twice the size of a lion has good odds, but lb for lb I think lions have the edge.

          >but a brown bear averages about 800 lbs minimum
Interior grizzlies average like 600 pounds, only Kodiak bears and coastal brown bears are that big on average

    How big is the cage?

If it's big, the snake will probably win by just avoiding all combat and waiting for the other three to legit kill one another because it's snek and doesn't want anything to do with non-prey and can hide really well.

Or if the bars are too wide, snek will just get out and say frick the whole thing.

Grizzly rips the snake apart and the lion severely wounds, but doesn't kill, the Gorilla. Then whoever's the least injured between the two wins

    The gorilla

If it was an Alaskan grizzly, then the bear would frick the lion up based on the weight advantage alone. Even one from the lower 48 has got at least a solid 200 pounds on the lion, there's no contest. Same thing with the gorilla. The snake wouldn't even know what's going on because reptiles are dumb fricking morons that barely qualify as alive in the first place.

If I had to place them:
    Grizzly>>Lion>Gorilla>>>>>>>>>>>>>>dumb fricking snake

Aren’t the Alaskan “grizzlies” closer to Kodiak bears anyway?

        Anonymous

Kodiak bears are grizzlies (Ursus arctos), horribilis is the mainland subspecies whereas middendorffi is the Kodiak subspecies.

          Anonymous

Grizzlies are U. a. horribilis. Ursus arctos as a whole are brown bears, grizzly is generally only applied to horribilis and only occasionally used for other subspecies which isn’t exactly correct seeing as horribilis was the first to be called grizzly bear

The size difference is actually pretty big and makes those videos of jaguars merking caiman less impressive. Jaguars in the Amazon weigh like 200 pounds while spectacled caiman, the most common species which jaguars prey, only grow up to 80 pounds.

Ok, what about this you bunch of caiman copers, croc attacks a lion cub in it's element with its back turned and still gets ACK'd but lives to tell because the cat is too busy not trying to drown.

that's a sub-adult (or female) crocodile just fricking a lion for funsies. Crocodilians are notorious for such behavior and given the lions reaction, this has happened to it multiple times.

Crocodilians frick around like that all the time. They are among the most laid back animals.
Look at this video for example where a gator just headbutts a kayak and lets the guy paddle away with no problem. It must've greatly amused itself.

That would be impossible since the Lion would want to fight from the start. it's either lion or bear. Snake is useless and can only kill dumb dogs. and gorilla is too peaceful to fight

Lion would almost start a fight since it's one of the animals that was added in pit fights for that reason. it would be between bear or snake

This. Leopards and Jaguars can clear big snakes and Gorilla would just be in the way. Depends on the size of the bear but Lion might win it.
