Impressive, but why would the coyotes fight him? Most predators back off once the prey fights back, why did the coyotes not run away once the first one fell? Like he killed 8 of them, and at no point did they decide that it wasn't worth it?
They might have been desperate. And I'm not an expert, but maybe they get overconfident and reckless when they form big enough groups
the coyote is an honorless, cowardly, and wretched thing.
destroy all coyotes.
yotes get yeeted
What an alpha i'd love to be His girlfriend
I love my cats but I no longer have money to feed them and I don't trust other owners, what is the fastest way to kill them?
Let them be outside cats.
vet bills probably more expensive the sheep dog was guarding.
Probably but I'd be damned if I let him die after all that. It'd be easy to crowdfund a vet bill given the story, which it appears they did.
yote fans are pretty quiet about this one
With climate change fricking up migration patterns, making it much more difficult to find food, it's very likely that none of the coyotes were at full strength. This dog got very lucky.
Coyotegay cope.
Top tier cope. It was still over 10 gayyotes in total. And this was a pussy western eu great pyr lgd which are basically the beta of lgds. Imagine if it was an actual proper lgd, from the east. Imagine a Caucasian, Central Asian, Bucovina, Kangal, etc. The actual state of coyotes, lmao.
Hot take… all those dogs come from areas where the most dangerous predators for sheep/goats are not coyotes but are actually Muslims.
Ye, these dogs are bred to kill other people trying to steal your cattle.
Hahaha
>unironically using climatechange(tm)
I hope it was just climate change which occurs all the time since forever and not the IPCC manufactuered term clamatechange
>muh climate change is the main narrative in every story
>muh territory-guarding predators with obscure migration patterns
How about no. They probably had coydog/coywolf mystery meat ancestry juicing them up to be even bolder and more pack oriented than normal coyotes. Probably killed and ate dogs on the regular too and thought they were hot shit. They saw one dog, their alpha went on the attack and got got. The rest come in acting defensively because the boss is getting maimed and they get picked off one by one trapped in a cycle of reflexively defending their hurt companions against a dog bred specifically for intercepting predators in all weather every day of the week.
Colloid bros, we fricking won.
yotes got smoked
Once upon a time in a far-off land, there was a brave and noble dog named Casper. Casper was the guardian of a flock of sheep that roamed the rolling hills and green pastures of the countryside.
One day, as Casper was patrolling the perimeter of the sheep's grazing grounds, he heard a faint yipping in the distance. As the sound grew louder, Casper knew that it was a pack of coyotes, fierce and cunning predators that would stop at nothing to snatch a meal from the sheep.
Without hesitation, Casper charged towards the coyotes, barking and growling fiercely. The coyotes, startled by Casper's boldness, hesitated for a moment before launching their attack.
Casper fought bravely, his sharp teeth and powerful jaws tearing into the coyotes' fur and flesh. The battle raged on, with the coyotes snarling and snapping at Casper, and Casper baring his teeth and lashing out with his paws.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the last of the coyotes lay dying at Casper's feet. Casper had triumphed, and the sheep were safe.
Word of Casper's bravery and valor quickly spread throughout the land, and the sheepherders praised him as a hero. Casper was hailed as a champion, and his name became known throughout the kingdom as the greatest guardian of sheep that had ever lived.
Casper lived out the rest of his days in peace, watching over the flock and defending them from any threat that dared to cross his path. And though he was no longer a young dog, his spirit and courage never wavered, for he knew that he had been chosen to protect the sheep, and he would do so until his last breath.
Thus ends the epic tale of Casper the heroic dog, who single-handedly defeated eight coyotes to defend his beloved sheep flock. Though he may have been just a humble dog, he will forever be remembered as a true hero, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
I normally don't give a shit about dogs, but that's based
Holy frick.
Strong protagonist energy, god damn.
What a trooper.
