What would it be like to be a bear's pet? Not what would it be like to have a bear as a pet, as that's patently ridiculous, but what would it be like for a grizzly to OWN YOU LIKE PROPERTY.

Animals own nothing and they're happy.

If you declawed and detoothed them would they technically be able to do no damage at that point?

You'd end up fricking up their diets by detoothing them. Even if they don't have claws, they still weigh a ton and can crush you

dunno, but that bear has damn good tastes, now just mix some blueberries with the honey and cook the fish in it

I'd cook the fish with spruce shoots (they're kind of fresh and citrusy) and serve with a honey-sweetened blueberry jam.

sounds equally delicious, this local BBQ joint has blueberrie Chipotle sauce for their slow cooked ribs, to die for

We mostly have blueberries (the European kind) with sweet dishes here and lingonberries with savory ones, but a blueberry chipotle sauce sounds really nice.

I have sincerely lamented the fact that bears have not been domesticated

Didn’t some russian recently domesticate his own batch of foxes by selectively breeding them for 30 years? How hard would it be do the same for bears? It’d probably be easier to do black bears since they’re smaller.

        There is no domesticated fox.

Yes, there is. Look up Dmitry Belyayev's fox experiment.

Never heard about that after living years here. I'll ask my wife, sounds like a fun prank to make.

I can't imagine a fish as delicate as salmon going well with something as strongly sweet as honey. Tuna maybe will?

mint (menthol) and eucalyptus, personally l dislike it with choloate and alsowithcoffee but l can see that others probably would. Many people would eat used diapers if they came sprinkled with sugar and covered in surup or honey.
