Sounds your dog is starved from any actual nutrition from being fed on cornslop his whole life. My dog gets fed actual food, and generally actually has to be coaxed to finish his "required" calories to not lean underweight. Conversely, often low quality canned dog food is like a McDonalds type treat to him (but good god are the shits atrocious after)
