There is an old man (like 70 years) in my neighbourhood who goes outside to beat cats with a stick. I found him hitting my cat hard yesterday, I asked him why he did it. He replied that he hates them and was going to finish them off, he is not in dementia or something. So I lost my mind I pushed him and told him that the next time he did it, I was going to kill him. Maybe I overreacted a little, and I feel sorry for threatening an old man. What would you do? Should i beat his ass next time?

I lived across the streets fron russians who hated me and they put a dead cat in my porch that looked like mine. I showed up to their door with a bat and and told them if they touch my cat Ill frick their shit up. Didnt see them on their porch or get harassed until I moved. You did the right thing.

Anyways, maybe come up with a little flyer that you distribute, also asking them if they have experienced similar problems with their cats. Also make a group chat on whatever app is used for such things so you can communicate and plan together.
Then, maybe, a bunch of you show up at his door and inform him, in a very nice and disarming way, that you're not ok with his behaviour. Once it's clear that it's a waste of all of your time, then you can be threatening if you want so.
If that fails, then perhaps you can start making plans on how his gas stove was accidentally slowly filling his home overnight with the good explody stuff.

I would find their house and vandalize their property constantly, using drones to shatter windows and drop paint, sewage, brake cleaner, etc all over the place every night and whenever they left for work, so they would always feel loss and injustice. And I would anonymously let them know that all the poisoned dogs and cats would have lived if they never killed that man.
