Wauf also keeps extensive logs, thorough enough to give LEAs enough evidence to arrest individual posters just for making vague joke threats targeting glowies. A Wauf account asking for a gmail address would not change your privacy at all. Everything you have posted here is concretely tied to your real identity. It would however completely halt ban evasion and probably kill the site and cause a mass outflow to smaller chans so they need to introduce it gradually, maybe start without emails and then bump it up after staging a spam attack
