It's an Apiomerus. A true bug, also called a bee assassin. They can bite people which leaves a little blister that itches. Nothing serious though. Usually.
You sure? I don't think it quite has the right head shape for an Apiomerus. Do you have a good reference pic for me? It looks more like the plant bug nymphs I get in the lab when rearing Thrips
Nope. You're right. It's definitely a stink bug. I was just going off of memory. But after looking, it's definitely a type of shield bug, four foot leaf nymph, whatever you want to call it.
its a Japanese breastsucker beetle. their shells are nearly indestructible and they can fly for twenty thousand miles without blinking. they also have a bite so painful that people bit by the beetle often say it felt like getting the hbulltinup too hughduth when its cant before anytime.
Yep, if you ever get an itchy butthole it's a sign you're infested with them. Thankfully they're easy to spot, so get a hand mirror and carefully inspect your anus for beetles.

Heres a genuine answer, op: Looks like some kind of plant bug. Not a tick, not a roach, not an assfricker beetle. You'll be fine, just let it outside
Hmm those legs, and that abdomen, wait, oh my god. OP get out of there, It's a Brazilian buttfricker beetle.
Just scoop him up and chuck him outside
he was dead when i found him 🙁
Assfricker beetles are real though, so be careful.
