Talking Snake

So I was reading the Bible and the beginning there is a talking snake in Genesis.
So I want to ask: is it possible for a snake to talk?

It's not a snake, it's quetzalcoatl before he got ousted by angry sand people and had to fly over and seek worship in south america.

Basically none of the gods are what they say they are, they're just extradimensional aliens that depend on human measurement of quantum states to enjoy a more well defined existence.

      >creator of the fifth humanity
      >is the morning star
      >one of the gods that did not, in fact, demand human sacrifice
      >best buds with a dog god who guided the dead to the afterlife, who was the evening star
      >one of the major ones that did demand human sacrifices was a depicted was able to forgive peoples sins and was associated with cats
      >that guy was also related to fire, just like jesus was the son of or an incarnation of yahweh, who frequently appeared as fire and shared etymology with other cultures fire gods
      >cats were the favorite animal of several cultures that claim a special connection to yahweh
      Checks out.

Birds, snakes, and dogs are our ancient friends. Fire is evil. cats are respectable but shouldn't be trusted.

      >isn't it odd that the snake hated man
one of most popular discourse is "what fruit was it, cos not a apple" in reality only thing "consumed by snake" was Eve

The snake is not a snake. It's a symbol.
Like if a guy is known as the fox then someone might write "the fox said this and that" and by fox they mean the guy

      >The snake is not a snake. It's a symbol.

Yes it's real and I can prove it: just go to the nearest hotel and look in one of their night stands

No the talking snake is a symbolic representation of an ancient god who loved humans and gave them wisdom and intelligence, from before the israelites turned to monotheism and started worshipping an evil god who wanted humans to just be obedient slaves.

It says serpent actually, so a snake.
It doesn't appear to be a symbol it's very literal and clearly a snake.

dragon literally translate into serpent,d ragons having wings, and shit doesnt come into being until the middle ages, well past well the bible was written

It's not a dragon because the author would of called it that, similar to it there js an actual dragon in the book of Revelation so there seems to be a clear distinction.

Having wings and hording treasure were ascribed to dragons much later on from them. And breathing fire was interchangeable with venom.
