>gaslights millions into thinking large tyrannosaurs were feathered for years and causes weirdo autists to develop entire personalities around that idea only for all of them to have literal mental breakdowns the moment it's revealed they were scaly instead
Nothin personell
Keep in mind that Yutyrannus is not a Tyrannosaurid and Tyrannosauroidea is fake. It was created just to push feathered T. rex. Yutyrannus was also acquired through illicit means and they don't even know where it came from.
Sure thing schizoman, now weren't you busy pretending to be a well known paleontologist in the other thread and crying like a little b***h at one of Brian Engh's shitty videos?
I stopped caring about that gay master ages ago so it never accoured to me that he actually quit paleo stuff as a whole the second his unfounded fanfic about t-rex was disproven, fricking hilarious
So much for caring about accuracy eh
God what a shame that game is, could be amazing but it's developed by literal manchildren who can barely get a "HIRE THIS MAN" tier build working properly
What? JWE is complete shit. Get JPOG, it's just a way better version.
Or maybe prehistoric kingdom, I haven't played that one but it looks way better than the "herbivores can't defend themselves and carnivores have shitty static animations for hunting" crap that you get with JWE. Complete waste of 60 bucks.
Updated JWE is better in every way outside of shittier guests and lack of jungle aesthetic, stop being moronic
also >shills prehistoric kingdom, the game where the animals literally can't fight or actually do anything

PK is a fricking dollhouse simulator with dinosaurs, great designs but they might as well be animatronics.
I dunno much about PK I just knew that it had the same guy who was in the walking with series so I admit I was probably wrong there, although it technically isn't done yet either so there's that.
But no it is not better, all the animations are static and setup with little to no dynamic interactions between the herbivores and carnivores besides slowly walking up and then getting into a fight or running away but always inevitably losing by means of a shitty takedown animation.
Herbivores were actually chased and hit over and over by the carnivores and the bigger ones would hit back, hunting was so much more dynamic in JPOG.

It looked like Path of Titans pvp with carnivores biting the air behind the herbivore's ass and the latter falling to the ground, it was fine for when it was released but i'd rather prefer actual grappling and smaller prey being thrown around
Also the only herbivores that are actual useless cucks are hadrosaurs and sauropods which, while cringe and in dire need of changes, has always been the case with the Jurassic Park franchise since it loves to shit on them, on the other hand of the spectrum you have shit like therizinosaurus which is basically a terminator

With the hunting and dinosaurs fighting in JWE it's always the exact same animation with basically no variation, there's virtually no replay value.
In JPOG the tinier herbivores like dryosaurus and gallimimus had a decent chance of running away from and juking the carnivores on places like site B, and the battles involved actual moving around and running instead of standing completely still and sorta circling around each other while occasionally taking bites or whatever.
I do agree that therizinosaurus is very cool, but the one in JWE is so fricking ugly and gross. There's a couple of good mods for JPOG that add therizinosaurus, the modding scene for JPOG has always been massive and pretty much anything JWE has there's a mod for in JPOG.

nah carnivores can fail hunts, has to do with stamina or some such but it's not guaranteed death when the animation starts

Wait what? When did that happen?

A lot, dimetrodons for example are fat fricks that run out of breath everytime they chase something quick alongside animals with genes that impact stamina negatively, you even get a pop up on their status saying "hunt failed" and it can lead to them starving if they never manage to catch anything
The game does have problems with things being static sometimes but it's not THAT bad

Shit then, I just remembered how boring and soulless the dinosaurs were back when I played 3 years ago. If the herbivores can interact with each other and have friends and they removed shit like compies being able to kill fricking sauropods, then I'll rescind my statement.

The game has been updated a shit ton over time, in the beginning it was fricking ass but it's gotten much better even if it still has some flaws >If the herbivores can interact with each other and have friends
They have preferred species they like and socialize and fight with eachother in the same species for dominance i guess >removed shit like compies being able to kill fricking sauropods
Never seen it happen myself but sauropods nevertheless are treated like useless jobbers in the game and it's still unacepptable, if they ever get to make a third one (in case there's a new movie to advertise) they need to rework them entirely

The territories and such are good but the standing in front of each other and taking turns biting is dog shit. JPOGs animations for chasing and hunting were janky but way more dynamic. JWE could be so much better if it wasn't lazy shit, it needs mods

Its just a shame that rarely happens and all the herbivores are super fricking slow. A gallimimus can't outrun shit and the herbivores are all super underpowered to the point a ceratosaurus can beat a triceratops with relative ease
It is pretty dumb that Jurassic Park and other DINYSAUCE media made people believe this kinda shit was feasible.

They should add a shantungosaurus to the game that can kill megatheropods by tackling them to the ground and then crushing their neck Floyd style while also reworking herbivores in general.

There is a shantungosaurus mod and it can one shot most predators, though it also kills most herbivores as well

I would rather see them add basic behaviour to the animals to make them feel as alive as their designs suggest rather than simply pumping out species after species where they all do nothing
Swimming was a step in the right direction but they need to go full "all hands on deck" with that now instead of adding fricking Mapusaurus 5 months from now or whatever
I backed it on kickstarter and the last time I played it was in 2018. I got like 2 1/2 hours in total.
The only project I backed and ended up getting a ton of hours out of was War of Rights.
God what a shame that game is, could be amazing but it's developed by literal manchildren who can barely get a "HIRE THIS MAN" tier build working properly
I played that back before they added fall damage, and dropped it when the dev made some unhinged post comparing cheaters to real life murderers since both break the rules. I'm not even being hyperbolic, that's what he said.
More recently he added some variation of night vision that used to give people seizures and he tried to spin the complaints about it as people trying to get it changed to make the game easier
He is an unironic man child like his orbiters "working" on the game

Tyrannosauroidea was a thing before feathered T. rex was even a discussion
Sure thing schizoman, now weren't you busy pretending to be a well known paleontologist in the other thread and crying like a little b***h at one of Brian Engh's shitty videos?
They lost all motivation when they had to replace the feathered T. rex, just like Trey
Ironic since that led to one of the best tyrannosaurus designs ever made
I stopped caring about that gay master ages ago so it never accoured to me that he actually quit paleo stuff as a whole the second his unfounded fanfic about t-rex was disproven, fricking hilarious
So much for caring about accuracy eh
It will forever be one of my favorite internet moments
Feathergays never cared about accuracy. The entire thing was about pushing sexual degeneracy and getting famous by being contrarian.
>jwe
We've been on JWE2 for years now.
Everyones playing the Isle instead
God what a shame that game is, could be amazing but it's developed by literal manchildren who can barely get a "HIRE THIS MAN" tier build working properly
Dinoautists just cant get their shit together so this and ARK is the best you'll get.
Guess i'll be content with modded JWE2 for the time being
