Furthermore, as the breed exists literally because it was bred for fighting, and seeing as dog fighting is illegal in the US, it should be illegal to breed shitbulls and each one should be required to be sterilized.
Obviously, making things illegal does not make them go away, but the amount of injuries and deaths to both people and pets would see a dramatic decline if these creatures were treated legally as if they were wild.

Partially true, but what actually happens is that illegal breeds are heavily cross bred into other non-illegal breeds to bypass classification. In the case of pitbulls this leads to more dog bites amongst tge differentbreeds they are bred into and even more difficulty in identifying and controlling them. Places like Britain demonstrates this with the issues regarding backyard pit bull breeding still being a rampant and lucrative industry.

Pitbulls aren't bred for long life, survival in the wild, or survival under a normal owner. So I doubt mixing it with a wolf would be all that helpful, unlike Chad mules.

Basically buying a pitbull is like getting a gun that has had its safety removed. They add danger for no benefit.
