You could try sleeping on an old towel or blanket for a week and then give it to your dog without washing it. Your scent might be enough for your dog

Numerous studies indicate that sharing a bed with your dog is healthier. The benefits outweigh the risks, and those risks are pretty easily reduced by taking care of your dog.
One such study found that sleeping next to a dog reduces or eliminates nightmares. I guess that explains why I haven't had a nightmare in years, since letting my dog share the bed.

A pedophile hates dogs. Imagine my shock.

I bet your dog is severely neglected and filthy as well because you were too busy whacking it to drawn child porn and watching pedophilia-affirming degenerate propaganda out of the seedy end of japanese media.

he likely has to force himself to keep his distance because pedophilia and zoophilia have significant overlap. neither is a true biological orientation, those are only sex-determined behaviors, but both are caused by the same lack of impulse control and the same severe emotional under-development.

a pedophile can not separate cute and sexy, they can not separate care from mating. they can not instinctively understand the different roles of an adult woman, a child, and an animal and FEEL that difference, so literally everything that moves and has any neoteny or feminity to it is at risk if it's within cumming distance of them.

they can, however, exercise some self awareness so pedophiles often force themselves to hate say, dogs, or even cats, and hate IRL children with unusual ferocity and disgust, and they learn to do this when they become aware that the sexual urges they feel when seeing them are morally wrong. they become incredibly toxic and hateful individuals with regards to anything that arouses them and hyperfocus their urges on something that can't be harmed like cartoon characters, which ironically makes them stand out from normal people even more than they did initially. HOWEVER, despite this, the pedophile never ceases to be 7/8ths of an actual human being and never ceases to be a mortal threat to any woman, child, or animal they can get their dick into so the only cure for pedophilia/zoophilia (same disorder) is immediate euthanasia.
