    Heres the deal man:
    Its a dog. You knew it would live for 15ish years when you got it , a rational man knows death is something entirely natural, more so than anything else. Billions must die unironically because thats how it works.
    The only thing in life that merits being devastated over is an explicitly tragic death of a loved one, no your 86 year old grandma dying isnt tragic, again, its the cycle of life.
    In short, man up, its just an animal.

      They are very aloof and independent because they are the closest to the wolf.

      He was suffering from heart disease and had episodes where he just collapsed. Whenever that happened I picked him up and held him in my arms
