Wouldn't they need tons of space for burrowing and movement? Seems impractical as a pet. especially one needing a semiaquatic environment.

I wish the little bitty dwarf/indian species were easier to find, I don’t know of anyone that sells them anymore since covid. You can keep em in groups and with other tankmates well enough and they’re way easier to house compared to africans.
