You do not need a massive house or a massive yard to have a husky. In fact, you are just giving them more room to go insane.

Huskies REQUIRE companionship. This is their job. Not pulling. Any dog can pull. Huskies live in packs, and if you raise them YOU are their pack. Loneliness is their single biggest enemy but they can be happy in an 500sqft house on a half lot, if you can spend time and interact with them. And I do not mean two 30 minute walks a day, if you want it to just be walks it's going to have to be all the time when they're awake.

They are the dog that hates wagies as much as you do, if you hate wagies. They are not wagie pets. The husky is fully aware of industrial society and its consequences. But unlike you, who is addicted to video games, movies, TV, more music than a medieval king would listen to (you use it to numb your mind and control your emotions), junk food, and drugs, a husky has no soma to consoom, they can not be happy as a bugman.

    t. lives below the poverty line by choice with 2 huskies. Doing fine. Dogs are happy. I do not own a TV and can not afford internet faster than 50mbps because I refuse to work more than part time.

Yeah my bad. Point still stands. Maybe even more so with huskies.
Collies tend to become just weird neurotic, huskies are more likely to develop aggressive/destructive behaviour

    [...]
it's the same fricking thing with huskies. they're both similarly neurotic and need lots of exercise. if you're asking if your domicile is good enough, then it's not and you know it's not

Is right. If you're even asking in the first place then you shouldn't.

I stayed at a couchsurfing once, it was a dude and his adult daughter. I stayed there for a few days. They lived in a flat. A fricking flat. 3rd story.
The daughter had 2 (two) massive huskies because they were so le heckin cute! She felt she was doing a great job because she was going on a walk with them twice a day (on a leash). The dogs had developed destructive behavior, they would wreak havoc when left alone in the flat. So when the owners had to be away, they locked the husks in a part of the apartment where they couldn't destroy anything, and the limited space made them even more neurotic.
One day I left and forgot to properly close the door of said part of the apartment. When I came back, the cute puppers had destroyed and partly eaten several DVD boxes and a pair of flip-flops.
People are so fricking egoistic and irresponsible it drives me insane.

them having a yard or 2500 sqft house wouldn't stop the dogs from being destructive

          Small place makes it worse.
But you're right. Either way, huskeez aren't family home pets. If you want a husk you gotta make him work shit or go on literal adventures

if you have to ask, it's not adequate

    .
Collies are fricking amazing dogs, and easy to train, but extremely demanding in terms of activity. You need to get them to move a lot and challenge them "intellectually", get them to do all sorts of things. Also a majority of them get really obsessive about playing which is fricking annoying.
Essentially you need adequate space for your dog to be happy, get him running and moving a lot, and a least a big garden so he can stay outside while you're not home.
I'd you can't provide him what he needs, both in terms of space and activity and still take him in, know that your dog is going to have a miserable existence.
And if you still wanna take him because
    >omg collies are so cute πŸ˜€
Then you're being fricking egoistic and just doing it for yourself, not for the dog.

If you in a cold place get the husky, if your not, then go for the german shepherd (I have a german shepherd and they are cute, but you need someone to train it)

Malamutes are just huskies with an allergy to bees that got stung too many times

Female dogs are less aggressive, better smelling, and more intelligent.

Most dog bites, especially serious ones, are from males, and involve a stranger who is not used to all the little rules that often come with male dogs.

Just get a female. Hopefully one day we can live in a world where male dogs don’t exist.

don't get a husky, they are not good dogs. they're borderline wild animals that will attack smaller animals including small children.

he wants a husky, clearly he's a dogfricker like all husky owners and thus "requires" a male dog.

Just 'cause you're too much of a brainlet or a beta that's let dog walk all over them doesn't mean huskys are bad

huskies aren't even bossy dogs gaywiener, they're just wild as shit with a wolf-like prey drive. this is good in the tundra, very bad for a domestic dog that spends most of its life in a fenced-in yard or, god forbid, an apartment.

No, it's not. Do you want your dog to cuck out while cats shit in every available spot of dirt and giant rats dig into your house?

            Prey riven dogs are awesome.

Yes huskies can have pretty wild prey drive that you have to pay attention to training out at a young age
