Personally, i think the only way to consume meat with a clean conscience is to eat animals and products that you have raised yourself, or that have been raised by people in your community that you know personally. that way, you have a personal investment in the animals' lives, you don't take them for granted and you respect them properly
    t. is moving to a small town to raise chickens, quails, trout and freshwater shrimp in around 6 months time

Absolutely based. I feel the same way, and am living that life. If you can try 1+ year old rooster, and a 2 or 3 year old black angus if you haven't already. The meat is so much more flavorful it is crazy.

If you really want to go all out dry age a whole striploin. The aging tenderizes the meat, which is very helpful because 2+ year old beef can be a little tougher than most are used to.

    Supplements have poor bioavailability
There is no such thing as a vegan diet that is nutritionally adequate. Vegans are a false pursuit, as micro and macro as deficient as a "carnist" who only eats raw muscle.

ALL children raised vegan suffer from developmental delays and stunting.

1: No amount of supplements can fix the fact that humans evolved to digest meat, not plants. We thrive best on meat. There are no perfect vegan diets in existence. An omnivorous diet is ALWAYS SUPERIOR.
2: There is no argument against meat except for borderline religious nonsense. Animals are a highly robust source of biomass conversion. The products of the whole carcass, not the narrow definition of "meat" people who want lab shit crave, are edible, and can be used to replace many petroleum products as well.
3: ALL vegan diets, outside of a narrow area of the earth with a stable enough climate for year round agriculture and enough arable land, are unattainable without artificial power sources. ALL artificial power sources known to man are damaging to human and planetary health. ALL petroleum products as well! Animal agriculture has been proven to function in all climates. Note: Bugs are animals. Sorry, steakies.

It follows that there is no actual reason to stop turning animals into animal products. It is simply the best thing we have. God gave us machinery to work with and there is no reason to abandon it except for borderline religious "animal souls" schizophrenic garbage spouted by mentally ill homosexuals. In fact, veganism is just embracing a fundamentally broken and harmful system of continued pollution, destruction, and overpopulation.

Ratherwe should transition from eating luxury product animals such as beef to more efficient livestock that can convert a wider range of inedible biomass into nutrient dense food with minimal cost.

Even in your perfect world where everyone is eating synthetic meat instead of real meat, there would still exist a class of humans who continue to enjoy quality meat from real animals. Eating animals would become a privilege and status symbol because only the unwashed masses eat synthetics. They'll be rubbing it in your dumb face.

Also fact: both of these technologies are highly destructive and their use should be limited as much as possible

Therefore it is better for the environment to limit your meat intake to sustainable, low waste sources rather than abandon all animal products.

Large scale farming kills many animals. A true vegan would grow all their own food to be 100% sure no animals were harmed. Everything else is just a fake moral high ground.

I love animals, and I eat them as well. I raise my own animals in natural, and stress free environments where they never have to worry about food or predators, and in exchange I consume them at my choosing. They will be killed quickly and humanely with little to no waste. The meat will provide me with sustenance as I provided them.

This is a far better life and death than any animal could ever hope for in the wild, where the weak and sick are killed by predators that will tear them limb from limb while they are still living.

Animals do not understand the concept of a long life, and there is no difference between an animal that dies at a prime age for me to consume, or of old age.

the majority of plants we grow are fed to livestock so a vegan lifestyle actually decreases the amount of plants we harvest

        Anonymous

Why do you lie? That's simply not true. Mostly, they're grazed on a cycle of patches of grassland (normally grassland that isn't economical to farm for anything else) and fed waste. That is because we're facultative carnivores and can only really eat a narrow selection of the plant life this planet can produce, which is only produced in a narrow selection of transient conditions on a narrow selection of land.

Also, we currently overconsume megafaunal fatty muscle while wasting the majority of the carcass (which we evolved to eat as surely as we evolved to eat meat in general), so we could easily cut way down on livestock feed use if americans could break their steak and ribs addiction and go back to eating chopped liver and slurping marrow out of femurs like humans were meant to. It's a great system since animals essentially digest otherwise worthless food from worthless land for us.

          Anonymous

It's far worse than just wasting a bunch of the carcass, even the tender cuts people simp for are subject to over 26% waste at the consumer level alone.

I'm always disgusted when vegans try to spin it as an environmental issue as if malnourishing the whole planet on a diet a child objectively can not properly develop on is the correct approach to what is really an unhealthy, unbalanced diet and a hideous amount of waste.

There's a reason schwab said eat bug meal (they eat literally everything and are dried and ground whole so there's little waste) not eat beans.

Not to mention the fact that meat is a middleman for energy. I'm sorry, but these facts don't care about your feelings; we can globally live without forcing animals to suffer.

No we can’t. Not very well. All vegans are malnourished. An animal free agricultural cycle will always waste material and be unable to utilize all of the land it could because humans are not herbivores and can only reclaim those nutrients through fermentation otherwise (humans have the same gut fermentation capability as wolves)

And no, animals dont suffer. Sorry vegan. Only humans have souls.

This is precisely what makes it efficient, you use less land and less material for the same amount of nutrition.

                >you use less land and less material for the same amount of nutrition.
This is how I can tell you're full of shit. If the world went vegan there would be more need for agricultural land, not less you fricking idiot.
This is because animals only eat the biproducts of crops grown for humans. The stems, the leaves, a shitty harvest, the bits we don't eat, that goes to animals. So if there was no need for livestock, the amount of plant agriculture would increase to make up for this new gap in our diet.

by eating fortified food, food that contain some of the animal nutrients naturally and GMOs.
the only thing a vegan diet right now cannot give you is the taste of meat.

Humans by definition can not thrive without meat under natural conditions
            >BUT A GLOBALIZED ECONOMY WITH DOMESTICATED CROPS AND INDUSTRY PRODUCING SUPPLEMENTS AND FORTIFIED PROCESSED FOODS IS HECKIN NORMAL FOR HUMANS
In that case, the facultative carnivore does not exist!

But it does, because the goyslop diet still has missing nutrients with inferior bioavailability vs. animal protein, so vegans are surviving, but not thriving. They are operating in 24/7 famine mode desperately trying to cobble together 90% of their required nutrition from inappropriate and bizarre, voluminous, exotic sources while a human eating a normal diet including animal protein (ie: Mediterranean diet) will live as long or longer, be healthier through that, and spend less effort on basic food acquisition and preparation AND, best of all, never have to deviate from the tenets of their diet due to the globalized economy or industrial society experiencing prolonged disruptions (or collapse), because their diet is practical from now back to the stone age. The proportions of meat innate to their diet are also within the range of purely waste-fed/poorly arable land-grazed animal agriculture.

            PS:
All the vegan sustainability BS is trying to make excuses for overpopulation. Humans do more than farm, hunt, and eat. Just because you can feed so many people doesn't mean we should have that many people - in fact, the part where they won't thrive is proof we need to limit population growth ASAP and find a better way to have geniuses born (genetic engineering or basic eugenics, perhaps - dont worry, west, china didn't outlaw it because china isn't beholden t roeligion schizos. maybe they'll let you move there.)

Appeal to nature is not a fallacy. Stating that it is a fallacy is a philosophical statement about your own morality and spirituality. Nature, specifically your own species nature, can in fact be the ideal.

We are talking about diet, not lifestyle, that on its own is whole can of worms which is unbelievably moronic like argumenting against symbiosis with livestock.

humans do not need meat to thrive. This is the 21st century, our technology is good and still hasn't peaked. Stop limiting yourself to Black person tribe level of tech peak. Want the rice to be inflated with meat-exclusive nutrients and be dense as them? You can. It won't be natural anymore but like you give a flying frick about natural as if you are a religion cuckold of how "humans cant play god"
newsflash homosexual, vast majority of modern food isn't natural anymore. It has all been modified, even meat.

Humans need meat to thrive. There is no such thing as a complete vegan diet.

All choices required to make a vegan diet possible are incorrect or pure fantasy.

ah yes, eating nutrient supplements is a fantasy concept apparently. At which time period do you live? 1600s?
I can with confidence guess that you are severely deficient in Vitamin D since you never heard of a concept such as pills to assist your diet. The issues you hear about vegans is because they are moronic and go full organic, they are appealing to nature just as you "facultative carnivores"

Synthetic nutrients aren't real nutrients. And what about the bacteria?

the only difference between synthetic and organic B12 is how it was created, the end result is still the same. just like how synthetic diamonds are still real diamonds, same composition and properties. again only difference is where it was made, in a lab instead of inside the earth. A chemist will tell you this, its the same fricking shit under the microscope.

there's more non-dairy probiotic food than dairy. Not like I'm against vegetarianism, I hate vegans too but for different reasons, mainly the part of zero animal byproducts.

Vegan diet and vegan lifestyle can't be removed from one another. The changes in everyone's lifestyle were everyone to become vegan would be immense and have to be taken into consideration.
Also, please shill whatever you're saying to actual vegans. Y'know, the ones who think taking laxatives get rid of toxins and shit? I wonder how they would react to what you're saying.
Because you're right to a point, one can modify plants to give us all we technically need, but considering the only people who would ever possibly want that are the same people who think GMOs cause cancer...I don't think anything will change.

Pretty sure the ones against it are overwhelmingly atheist liberals/leftists

        >you don't require eating meat daily to thrive
This is true, eating meat daily is a luxury of modern farming practises as well as the prevalence of over-consumption.
But we still do need meat to thrive properly. Just not all the time, every day.
