Ive never known a dog to roll around in shit and even the smelliest dogs and dustiest birds dont smell as bad or create as much filth as the box of shit and piss that you keep in your kitchen and gets kicked and tracked around into every corner of your living space
I don't have this problem. My cat mostly shits outside and buries it under leaves. In the house I use non clumping litter which is the cheapest kind but it doesn't stick to paws and track around everywhere. Also his box is in the basement not the kitchen lol that would be disgusting.

In my opinion, it's very difficult to change people's behaviour as a whole to try and preserve (small) wildlife but trying to change small groups (cat owners, people who litter, people who hunt wildlife for sport) is a lot easier. It's just that 1 of the aforementioned groups completely denies the truth that they're causing harm
