barnacles mostly attach to baleen whales, baleens are more suited for their survival than toothed whales. There is no secret, whales don't even give a shit about getting barnacles, they die on their own eitherway if it ever happens to settle on toothed whales
>whales don't even give a shit about getting barnacles
I remember seeing a video of a whale seeking people to get their barnacles removed

They don't do that. Not unless they're sick. Barnacles help since that calcified shit helps act as a club for defense. But as far as I know mostly baleen whales get barnacles since both are filter feeders so they kinda get along well together. Whereas they'd kinda starve on toothed whales that don't have or seek out huge masses of algae and krill or whatever to eat.

whales only start removing the barnacles if they get uncomfortable, otherwise they keep them
Stand aside, true chad of the sea passing through.
I wonder how they seem to never get barnacles
They are far too active and their skin is very smooth, unlike that of a whale.
Or you know, literally just vibrate them to death.
Sperm Whales are the only large bodied whales to never have any type of barnacle.

Orchads.
You'll have to wait your turn, kid.
Damn that dolphin could pass as a juvenile orca.
>actively hunting possible predators to avoid future predation
They're more like us than we think
If you kill a killer the number of killers remains the same.
Dolphins are already carnivores though.
What if you kill 2 killers?
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck MURDER.
This is why bats are stuck as rodents while while dolphins are honorary humans.
Dolphins and Orcas are fricking badass and I'm tired of pretending they're not!
