Male bees only exist to inseminate the queen once, after which they're forced by the workers to get out of the hive and die due to not being able to survive on their own.
Even when you compare them to something like male tarantulas or mantises, at least they are able to live by themselves, and they only have to watch out for their female counterpart. Drones are just born helpless. It's really pathetic.
