homie, you don't, so why would animal do. I'm assuming you are talking about "not being an animal", which is another strong assumption. Damn, the situation is getting worse with every second for you..

    They do.
Bee decides it wants to live (there are more videos of this happening)
    https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7wH8dYiGbig

There are also, surprisingly multiple videos of snakes coming to humans for help. Their concept of death is the same as ours. They don't want it.

All they know is that it is better to be alive

Depends on the animal. Elephants absolutely. Dogs I think so. Bugs? I don't think so.

I agree with you, bugs is a huge category though. Maybe it's possible some of the more intelligent bugs have some ideas of death

Ants at least don't understand it, they basically just have scent tags and a corpse's scent tag says 'DEPOSIT_MIDDEN' so they dump it into the trash.

But if you put the same scent on a living ant, they still throw that ant into the trash because they don't really care whether the ant is dead or alive, they only look at the scent tag.

Religion is a mild form of schizophrenia that evolved so midwits would not become hedonistic or suicidal.

If you turn anyone with an IQ score under 115 into an anti-christian atheist instead of a natural-law atheist there's a great chance they'll do something criminal or just kill themselves because midwits literally can not conceive of staying alive or behaving morally without the active and constant threat of death. They also can not conceive of others behaving morally or staying alive unless they are subjugated by the same fearful delusions, because they simply aren't that smart.

However, christianity is not required for this, and is actually undesirable because arbitrary interpretations of the bible can theoretically justify murdering anyone who just interprets the bible differently enough, or follows a different religion but acts the exact same otherwise (like you did to your brothers in islam back when you both smacked women around).

Were you lost as a child and raised by a pack of wild fedoras? I don't see how else one can develop such a moronic worldview.

Religion is good because it lets you tell your tribe apart from other tribes (and your tribe is good because it shares your genes). The reason most people don't adhere to a religion anymore is because we have better ways to identify our tribes now, like putting rainbow flags on our Twitter profiles.

          >Religion is good because it lets you tell your tribe apart from other tribes (and your tribe is good because it shares your genes).
Yeah sure, that's why so many conservative christards adopt niglets that they import straight from Africa.

          >Religion is good because it lets you tell your tribe apart from other tribes
If the only way to distinguish your tribe from the one across the river is the magic lore book you believe in then you might as well merge.
If it's clear that you're ethnically, culturally and ethically different then the magic book is unnecessary. Besides, most christians don't even worship the magic heroes that their own ancestors came up with. When the tales of Jesus Christ were being written your ancestors were worshipping mistletoe on oak trees.

Do you? Can you answer why we die? Without resorting to some cop-out answer like it just is what it is? I expect deflection and cope in the replies. Prove me wrong.

Do *you* even understand life, death, and truth? How can you expect an animal to?

There is a life beyond this. Perpetual life, because we are children of the God of the living; not the dead.

There is no life beyond this. Your consciousness is the feedback loop between your biological machinery and its imprint on quantum probabilities. Once you cease to exist, measurements made by other devices will supersede any traces of your former being.

If you kill one dog, the others will attack you or fear you, and they appear to mourn the dead very briefly until their scent changes.

Birds and monkeys also do this.

I know some dolphins in captivity have committed suicide when depressed. I'm sure some other animal species have too.
Suicide suggests an understanding of the concept of death.
