Man assaults animal shelter in full military clothing with an assault weapon looking for his cat.
>Wittman demanded to know where the cats were kept and after Ms Scarlett said she didn't have keys for the cat he demanded she get on her knees.
>He cable tied her hands behind her back and told her to count to 100 before calling for help.
>'I'm going to close this door, if I see you, I'll shoot you,' he told her.
Did we go too far?

islam is the only religion on earth to have at least one sect explicitly allow bestiality and pederasty without being explicitly pagan or worshiping another faiths great-evil figure

islam is also the faith with the most praise for cats and the most dislike for dogs - the israelites are merely second.

cat fanaticism is a horseshoe theory issue. normal people just like cats. insane and amoral people either love cats or hate cats. and those that hate cats, frick dogs, and those that love cats, murder and torture dogs.

This was Australia, were having an outside cat is as well as throwing granades to the local fauna, no, his cat should have stay inside in the first place. He only needed to wait a day to take his cat back, guy's insane.

I wouldn't want a friend who's that impulsive and incapable of making rational decisions. If I were in jail for a single day, and a "friend" tried to break me out and get us both in huge trouble, I'd be far less than pleased.

I hope one day the west will uncuck themselves and adopt the way Australians deal with fricking cats. We almost had a similar law in the state of Florida, until cat lovers cried about it.

Why are they holding his cat hostage? I see no point in that rule

They found the cat and once he knew were It was they just told him to wait 10 hours before picking it up, I don't see the issue.

Okay, but WHY are they not just returning his cat? It sounds like its confirmed he's the owner. So why not immediately give him back his cat?

Shelters are usually mainly staffed by volunteers that have a frickton of shit to clean, food to prepare as well as do routine health check ups to all their animals. That's why you sometimes can only visit on a certain time schedule instead of waltzing in whenever you feel like it. They're too busy to be at every moron's beck and call.

Okay but why didn’t they just give him the cat back?

I’ve worked at shelters before, it ain’t that complex. Especially since this ain’t a full adoption it should just be a manager sign off because they just need to click a few buttons.

Considering you stole some guys cat, this should be priority #1

Because his cat wasn't supposed to be outside of his house in the first place moron. 10 hours wait for fricking up is even less than what he deserved. So now he's six years in jail instead

My favorite part is this one:
            >When Wittman realised the woman didn’t have access to the cages, he tied up the terrified worker with cable ties and forced her to count to 100 before she could call for help.
            >Wittman did not collect his cat and dumped his equipment before he drove back to his Langwarrin home.
            >He went to the shelter the next day as arranged to collect the pet and staff called police when they recognised him from CCTV footage.
