I handle yellow jackets and paper wasps all the time. They're fine, they usually just land to lick any sweat or scrape off any dead skin on your hand. If their scraping becomes uncomfortable you can brush them off easy and another brush off or two and they'll get the idea.

I love Sand Wasps because they're very effective and killing flies, which in the humid summer breed like crazy. Also native wasps in Brazil they're the most efficient way of getting all the invasive insects. >Mosquitos get a pass because they are important for nutrient cycling.
Mosquitos are super useful to the ecosystem, but there are armies of morons that have spent decades trying to kill them all off because they prevent the pop growth of blacks. I'm not even joking scientists have been trying for a long time to cause mass mosquito extinction to increase Africa's population.
Considering all that’s being done to artificially inflate Africa population by many “””humanitarian””” organizations, that’s hardly unbelievable and surprising at all. I still hate them but it’s clear they serve an actual purpose in fricking Africa of all places.
