if we no longer need the meat from the animals that we specifically breed for meat only, what do you think will happen to them? That we'll keep raising them for free? As far as I can see, any vegan movement who wants a total stop of meat production is advocating for domesticated species extinction.
I don't care about vegans but do you have any idea how many species are dying just for a few domesticated species? Just look at the mammal biomass, it's a catastrophe.
