Or it was just the fastest when they went on the attack.
There is zero chance a husky will ever tell an akita what to do, trust me akitas are ass holes that dont even listen to other akitas.
Huskies are the most austically dominant animals with other dogs on earth. There’s one at the dog park (every day) that routinely humps every other dog in the face and is the defacto leader of every pack. Any other dominant dogs they just ignore or get into constant play fights with, but they never “lose” and roll over like a good sport, they snarl and leave.
My roommate's husky must be broken then. I have a dying old, ugly chihuahua mutt that I'm fostering due to family bullshit and he likes to corner my roommate's dog and start humping her. She could easily kill the little fucker and I'm surprised she hasn't at least tried.
If you know how to train the thing and keep it contained, it shouldn't hurt anyone. If you've never owned a dog before, I wouldn't recommend it. I have a shitbull, a Cane Corso, and a boxer and they've never bit or hurt anyone because I know how to train my dogs and call them off from biting people.
Protect a workshop maybe?
My uncle had one in his scrap yard and it was a fantastic way of keeping the morons out.
They can be usefull of kept away from women, children and all other animals.
actually you are right, there is legitimate use for dogs like that even if they aren't well trained
when I worked in a factory my manager had a very well trained doberman pinscher as a shop dog, it was such a sweetheart.
still, even if getting a dog for protection or something, why a pitbull? they are just so fucking ugly and have such a bad reputation lmao. I personally would get a doberman
Honestly the breed just being what they are is half the affect.
You see a pit you probably wont even try it, like a stone fish really, they look fucked up and naturally hazardous.
I wouldn't even go near the fence with a super mutant hound on the other side because them fuckers can chew through steel wire and dont care if they're bleeding.
I looked after a friends pit for a while and I understand the appeal. The breed being known as "fuck em up" means not many will come by your property or too close to you without checking with you that your dog is friendly. And that particular shitbull was, it was an older female and very calm. Wouldn't want one personally. Too plain ugly.
>mutant hound on the other side because them fuckers can chew through steel wire and dont care if they're bleeding.
Is that what makes them scary to others? That they dont stop fighting?
A lab’s a tool too. They reek and eat everything. Normal dogs don’t do anything that well besides not die.

You can't fool me satan!
I just mean labs are fine around other dogs and young kids. They're essentially a big hungry lap dog... and i guess a useful guid dog.
Thats why they stink, so the blind can sniff out their location.
had one growing up, we have to give her away to a couple living in a farm because she killed our neighbors dog. She was very cute and fluffy but also massive and had a lot of strength. We also had a Labrador, she was an angel and the Akita was the devil in comparation.
When I was younger, a friends family had a male akita, and not once did I see a single bit of aggression from that dog. They also had an older maltese terrier, and I personally never saw any issues between the two (would usually keep separated because of the sheer size difference though). That's just my experience, so I don't fuckin' know.
I have an akita inu and she is amazing with kids but has zero tolerance for adults.
Don't get rowdy around Children under an akitas protection, they will bite you.
I personally don't see that as a negative.
They are dangerous. Highly territorial and prey driven, capable of catching bears. The people who first bred them restricted ownership to government officials and warriors.
American akitas are mutted up with shitbeasts mastiffoid blood and even worse.
They're probably considered dangerous because they can be.
They look like they were bred to be livestock gurdians so they're ancestry is probably a lot less socialised compared to other breeds, plus obvious violent tendencies that are required to be good livestock guard dogs.
I remember reading a story about one who had not only killed another dog on someone’s lawn but fucking ate it. They seem nice
an akita pack led by a husky killed ate my grandpa's labrador alive
Elaborate.
An akita pack would be a rare sight indeed.
Huskychads, always the alpha in any situation

Sounds fucked, have you considered shooting the owner for allowing this retardation?
Why? It's hilarious
I missread it, i thougt he said actual fights and not play fights.

Some dogs regardless of breed are juste naturally unproblematic and will just deal with the shit of others like a jaded old man.

yepp you never hear of a pitbull mauling an adult male. It's always women and children.
Nah they maul blokes too, there'd be no point in having them if they weren't vicious.
However i want to make it clear that these dogs arent pets and aren't to be treated like a Labrador.
They are a tool.

I'm surprised your neighbors didn't come over and put a hammer through its skull. Or was it a pitbull?
Akitas require a lot of supervision or they 100% will do whatever they want.

i had an akita growing up, she bit quite a few of my friends. also bit a bunch of my brothers friends lolz. cute as all hell, miss that fluffy bitch
They need a lot of attention, they are energetic and smart, and when you don't give them enough mental and physical exercise, then they go haywire
Theyre stubborn, independent, powerful and reactive. Not for everyone.
I knew an exchange student who said they were the shitbulls of Japan. Always headlines in the news of them mauling kids.
Aren't most Japanese dog breeds not good with kids?
I have an akita inu and she is amazing with kids but has zero tolerance for adults.

One of them almost killed my friend's dog once. They're big strong and aggressive
