    Im wondering anons-
Who the fuck signs up to do this to monkeys, or any animal in general, besides sociopaths?
Where and how do they find people willing to do this?
Is there a dark corner of LinkdIn where companies recruit people for it?
Do employers coerce normal people into doing this awful shit? Do they work them up to it... like they have them start with mice/rats, then rabbits, then have them move on to bigger mammals?

You don’t ever get hired in an entry-level position without being well aware that you’re going to be sacrificing animals, and then you get trained to see if you’re still ok with the reality of sacrificing animals (most people who aren’t sociopaths usually stop here).
Then you work your way up and network through a web of circlejerks until you eventually happen across something that makes you nope out and pick a different field. Usually the tedium of the simpler stuff weeds people out before they ever see anything depraved. There’s also free ethics seminars to help make you feel better about whatever you’ve seen or done.

It isn't a "dark corner", it's just anyone working in animal stage clinical trials.

Damn right brother! We're out here sticking computer chips in baby macaques brains! Advancing science and enjoying baby macaques pain! Elon Musk is doing god's work, brother!

You can't even call it that. They are butchering monkeys to test this nightmarish shit.

No sane human will ever willingly have a CIA spyware device jammed into their brain.

Is this about side-effects or the scientists mistreating the monkeys?

You already have one jammed into your pocket. With top-down incentives like corporate paid bonuses and not wanting to be worse than your colleagues this can be done imperceptibly over time.
As with everything, common people will only realize once it's already too late. In the end it's not the surveillance that's going to affect us, but the inequalities leading to more divide-and-conquer-mongering.

Absolute tard take. Yes smartphones do in fact track your every movement, keystroke, record your voice and image whenever possible, basically spy on you every way possible, but the colossal fucking difference is that I can take my phone out of my pocket and shoot it. I can't do that with a neural implant without hurting myself at the minimum, so it's a pretty huge fucking difference. Most people won't do it at all, and if they try to force it on people it'll just cause a social collapse until the side with the most people wins.

Side effects. Technically mistreatment too. Some of the side effects just from being poorly installed and coming apart or loose because they weren’t put in right to begin with, some coming apart from the monkey flailing about in recovery, the rest just stuff like infection or fatal swelling. Possibly additional pain and discomfort from just the normal function from the implant as well?

Rich idiots might inflict it on themselves first, but like "smart" phones you will eventually "need" one to get and hold down a job. And unlike the rich idiots you'll need to take out a loan to get your McKillswitch implanted. Enjoy adds that you literally can't not percieve.

Anyone who conducts this line of research should have their families killed in front of them before they face the wall as well.

Don't worry, they probably are. Most of these types of researchers get assassinated to avoid tech leaking.

Post the link. If we're talking paranoia and CIA killswitches why are you expecting someone else to google it and add their name to the hitlist? And yes, I'm aware you'll be added to a list but someone who follows a direct link is likely to be a lower priority than one who actively searches for said content.

I think we should allow it
