Why is human altriciality made to be a big deal?

Why is human altriciality made to be a big deal? We do take longer to mature than other species, but our gestational period is normal for primates and we come out okay.

Because we think we are exceptional to the degree we take care of our offspring.

The Dodo was one. I don’t know if any still exist.

Because we see ourselves as unique among animals. To that end we look for reasons to justify that assertion.
Altriciality is certainly not the only thing that sets us apart but it could be considered a necessary element in a species being able to create things like spaceships and nuclear weapons.

It takes 14-18 years (insert arguments here) for Humans to fully develop into an adult. Humans don't just mature physically, but mentally and socially.

Because hating humans is a basic bitch npc take. Usually programmed into the general public through social media, shows like Bambi, nature documentaries, and climate change alarmism.

Our gestation is just a month longer than chimps but that's because our babies are born at an earlier stage in development.

That being because our heads are so damn big we simply can't delay childbirth any longer without maternal and infant mortality going through the roof.

Why the fuck didn't humans evolve large as fuck hips, then?

We were progressing in that path (See african tribal customs of clothing designed to make their butts/asses look bigger). Then technology reached a state where our species essentially became evolutionarily stagnant because technological progress removed the massive amounts of death and time that evolution requires. (Well, it didn't remove time, but in our current state its doubtful that evolution will occur prior to genetic alteration for embryos becoming mainstream)

So if the C section was never invented then we'd only have thicc mommy thighs on all women?

thighs =/= hips, thighs are legs, hips is width of the pelvic bone or ass

It would be harder to walk properly.

        We don't need them, though.

And we're not the only species that has a 'tight fit.' Or even the worst when it comes to this.

Allegedly it allows more time for mental faculties to develop but knowing them people in my every day life that doesn't seem to be true
