I cant prove Santa is fake. I can however assert that he does not exist because no one has given irrefutable evidence that Santa exists in the first place. Those fossils objectively exist, and you are making the claim that they are fake. You are a bitter little incel contrarian, so you are unable to provide evidence for your claims. You lose. Part of the problem is proving that they're real requires a lot more education than anon is willing or able to absorb.

One of the interesting things I ran into early in my dinosaur career is the occipital condyle. Like coming out of high school they don't really tell you that mammals have 2 occipital condyles while reptiles only have 1. So I didn't know how to look at a single bone and tell if it was a mammal or a reptile if I didn't have any other context. But you start learning the differences and suddenly you can tell just by looking at a bone if it came from a mammal or a reptile or an amphibian or a fish. The more you learn the better your ability to spot truth.
After a while the idea of faking all these little differences that the schizo doesn't even know becomes ridiculous. Like if we're just fooling a bunch of high school educated creationists, we don't need to concern ourselves with the 5th trochanter or the ascending process of the astragalus. But those details are present even though the schizo doesn't know what they mean. Which is a convincing argument against fakery. Just not one he's smart enough to understand.

this is a bit of a moot point though

anyone that has studied dinosaur anatomy to the level of being able to ID dino bones by sight has also dug dinosaurs out of the ground and ID'd them. They already know the bones are real and came from dinosaurs because they came directly out of the rock and there's nothing else in the entire world like them.

I am genuinely curious what your complaints are with these characters.

Cope and Marsh didn't start dinosaur paleontology by any stretch of the imagination, but their methods could certainly be criticized. The funny thing is neither of them is particularly famous in science for their paleontology. They were much more successful zoologists and ecologists than paleontologists. Both produced bodies of work that have nothing to do with dinosaurs.

Not him, but a large source of this current pulse of dinosaur denying schizos is a series of youtube videos by a flat earther named Eric Dubay. In his videos, Dubay made major error by confusing the first dinosaur ever described from America by Leidy with the first Dinosaur ever described. With his timeline now fricked up, Dubay asserted that Richard Owen coined the term Dinosauria out of necessity for the concept of evolution without any dinosaur ever actually being discovered.

The real bones are kept in the back, and the museums will even show you if you ask nicely. Not that you would put that much effort into your lunatic ramblings.

It's a disinfo agent. As usual, it's malice, not incompetence.

How accurate is the ~~*science*~~ when it comes to dinosaurs?

That all depends on what you’re asking. Are you asking about the mainstream narrative? Because that’s batshit bonkers. Or are you asking about the actual fossil evidence and rarely heard good paleontology? Right now the entire field is basically deviantart tier. I wouldn’t put much stock in anything published on Dinosaurs in the past 30 years. There are still discoveries and good details mentioned that aren’t heard about. The mesothermy study I often mention should have had a larger sample size species wise, but other than that it pretty much puts to bed the view that Dinosaurs were warm-blooded - in fact the supposedly feathered dinosaurs are some of the MOST cold-blooded. But you won’t hear about that in the news, because that’s actual science. Now all these fricking moronic “theories” like “scales come from feathers” or “feathers are an ancestral dinosaur trait” or “Ornithoscelida is real!” or Nick Longrich’s moronic fricking paper trying to cope Torosaurus into not being Triceratops where he claims that an animal with a 9’ long skull is a “juvenile” and that he can sex dinosaurs (nobody can) - the bullshit you hear the most about, that’s shit grade paleontology, and most of it isn’t science at all. But that’s the shit that gets pop star level recognition and taints the entire field. The homosexuals have control of paleontology now and they have successfully convinced the majority of the population that all the clearly wrong, contrarian “theories” about Dinosaurs are self-evident actually. Then when they’re confronted about it, they try to cringe and cower and deny all responsibility as if this problem created itself somehow.

Yep. Whatever academia can do to subvert. And the reason is EVERYTHING must be subverted in society or the goblins in control lose power. Any chink in the armor causes the entire farce to collapse. Truth anywhere is a threat to their goals everywhere.

Dinosaurs are not real. All they have are literal bone fragments, and a few large bones. No complete skeletons.

Those skeletons you see in museums have like 1-2 real bones on them, the rest came from the headcanon of some homosexual scientist.

It’s kind of amazing that glowBlack folk care so much about paleontology, probably because the amount of autists Dinosaurs attract poses a “noticing” threat. This “DINOSAURS AREN’T REAL! LOOKAMEEEEE‼!” bullshit is exactly like the “SPACE IS FAKE AND THE EARTH IS FLAT‼!” propaganda that starts appearing when you mention NASA’s long history of fraud.

Being a round boi seems like a solid defensive shape for t rex to have. Fewer sharp angles for an opposing rex to get an impactful or tearing bite into and a more deflective shape for matchups against ankylosaurs, pachycephalosaurs and triceratops (especially for juvenile rexes).

      Anonymous

I have this theory that theropods use their front limbs to grab each other's torso when they're fighting, like komodos. But T. rex opted for small front limbs and bit each other on the face instead (hence the numerous bite marks on the Rex skulls found). The bulky torso might be helpful to push rivals around.

It's often theorized it's for sex, since carnotaurus's arms are even smaller, yet these limbs were still quite strong, having the same purpose as pelvic spurs on pythons

All of that "fat" is pure muscle needed to run at 30mph+ and rip heads off anyone that talks shit. That's why.

Why do you want T rex to look like an auschwitz victim?

He was very fat compared to the old muscular JP design.
Well, at least he didn't have feathers.

        Anonymous

That's not realistic musculature. Bulging limbs just make you feel like you'd let T rex frick you. But look at that fricking neck. Is that a neck that rips and tears? No. That's a neck with more human proportions that I think you just like for reasons already mentioned. What about all the torso muscles that help balance those huge limbs? Realistically animals, especially carnivores, have a shitton of core and neck strength that almost dwarfs their limbs. It also needs huge guts to power its killing sprees and hold the shredded flesh of the slain. That would make it a little fatter.

And here you are b***hing about T rex getting more muscles and enhancements that make it a better killing machine because it draws it away from proportions you associate with sexual imagery and closer to an actual lizard. And yet, it is still, you know, a fricking lizard.

I'd argue that Jurassic Park's T-Rex was malnourished, all they fed it was a goat, this is a creature that could eat a triceratops
All things considered that T-rex was pretty chill and well mannered considering it might be starving. Even polar bears stop giving a shit about people when they're full, problem is they're never full.

        [...]

And yet, they keep happening and your dumb asses keep falling for it, handwaving it away when you get caught, then pretending you've never been wrong. It's easy to bat 1000 if ignore all your strike outs, try to get everyone fired that mentions them, then tell the news reporters you've never missed a ball.

So here's a test: Are Silesaurids Ornithischians?
