    I tried with a shitty fly trap from lowes. It died trying to eat a ladybug I think.

      You really need to make sure you read the care instructions. It's a plant that grows in shitty swamps, so they don't like a lot of sunlight, and need high humidity.

      That's a bummer, but I'd say keep trying and reading guides/talking to people. Awesome about the sarrs though!

            I have never raised a carnivorous plant before, so any plant that is for beginners will do. Also, would prefer if it actually ends up killing the insects, and not just attracting tgem to my home.
