Why are geese the only type of bird to retain their dinosaur instincts?

This makes me wonder, did dinos move in the same twitchy way birds do? Why DO birds do the twitching?

I could 100% beat a goose in a fight. Several geese, even.

running from an aggressive bird is a terrible Idea, even huge cocks will falter if you remain calm and stalwart.

the point isnt who can win, its who is scaryer to the other, and the birds won that.

The goose just scared her. If the goose was really hurting her, I'm sure she would fight back and mabye kill it. You don't kill a dog when it scares you while barking behind a fence.

Because you probably have very biased and ill informed ideas of what dinosaur instincts mean, as if we could even know.

Theropods acted nothing like modern birds. I, as a time traveller would know this definitively.
I can also tell you with certainty that they would make wonderful husbands and wives, but exceedingly poor mechanical engineers. It's not that they never tried to make any, they just didn't need them, so they ended up sucking and we threw them all away.
