A world where intelligent manatees rule the sea and intelligent capybaras run the land. How peaceful would that world be?

Any tank with a mantis shrimp rapidly becomes a species tank.

Man, I'm gonna have to call bullshit. Maybe not humans, but I'm sure males fight over shit, right?

      Anonymous

I'm not OP but as far as I'm aware manatees aren't really combative. They tend to be solitary and males just kind of follow any female who seems interested.

    i like brain coral
why tf they look like that?

      Anonymous

I figure it's an adaptation to increase surface area while keeping a smaller cross-section/target. Kind of like how our brains want to have a high surface area(as that's where our computational tissue is primarily) but they have a limited volume to do it in.

Orcas. They’ve been my favorite aquatic animal since I was a wee lad. The only aggressive Orca incident in the wild in modern days is caused by a family of pods in Gibraltar in Spain. Even then, they never injured people. They just frick with saiboats and swim away .

Hippos are dangerous and manatees are currently protected under conservation efforts. They have(and in some areas still are) been a food source before though.
