turtles, every single big ass flying thing, jellyfish, snakes, frogs, and centipedes
i know snakes, frogs, turtles, and centipedes can all be kept but i want them as full on pets. i want them to have the same bonds as you can have with a dog or horse or something.
birds can be trained but again, i want the bond of an animal that can reciprocate affection in their own way. idc if a raven can mimic words and be friendly, i want a pelican that can play fetch with me.
oh and jellyfish are cool as shit, i want one to love me, now! sea cucumbers would be cool too.
also are there wolves big enough for a guy to use as a steed? horses are cool but i think it's time to get a change in mount.

I don't believe so. Dire Wolves weren't much bigger than modern wolves really, see picrel.

it was mostly indigenous people in the northern countries who used Reindeer as their equivalent of cows/sled dogs

Yes, they milked deer, apparently it's one of the richest and most nutritious of milks.

Wolverine or honey badger. Burglars will think twice before invading a house guarded by a fearless ferocious animal who chew your balls. I’m sure they would be more afraid of having their dick and balls painfully destroyed than being attacked by pitbulls or any other guard dog.

There are domesticated skunks, aren't there? I knew a girl who had a pet skunk and a pet goat. I don't remember which was which but one was Elliot and the other was Ness.

There are pet skunks but they aren't really domesticated to the extent that ferrets are. The law is really draconian about them as well because nobody will approve the rabies vaccine that's been proven to work for them.

Ostriches are pretty much domesticated. The farm ones are about as nice as llamas, which are also considered domesticated.

Rheas or Emus are pretty neat, as an aside. And legal in nearly every state without permits. Emus can live fricking anywhere and you'll never have coyote problems because an emu will fricking murder a coyote. I think Rheas need a dog to protect them.

If Uncle Ben's Rescue Branch is any indication, a rhea will frick up coyotes too. He does also have dogs though.

That thing was malnourished as hell though, and western coyotes are tiny little shits anyway.
I don't know if a rhea could handle a healthy eastern coyote.

              Pig.
Ostrich and goats are considered "cute" and therefore less likely to be eaten.

The ruling class not permitting the continuous domestication of animals is malevolent. Ostrich, Cheetah, Black bear, Possum, Foxes, Rhea, Emu, Zebra, Giraffe, Elephant, Dolphin, Crow, Alligator, Pronghorn, Sea lion, Seal, and a menagerie of other animals... all should be brought into proximity of humanity. There is no devil greater than the one that separates us from God's gifts.

I'm certain I would have issues with it trying to go after hatchlings and other birds, but it's my fantasy so I get to have it the way I want.
Even if I had to house it in a separate mews and treat it like a falconry raptor, I'd still be happy to get to train it and take it on hunting walks.

            >theres a fringe theory that cheetahs were domesticated by some lost african civ
Not a fringe theory and not Africa. Persians domesticated Asian cheetahs where they filled the same niche in society as do dogs outside of the middle east. For some reason, however, the cheetahs just ended up abandoned and there are fewer than a hundred left.
