Unironically humans and chimps. No other wild animals are capable of being that innately psychotic. If a shark bites me I will at least know why. If a chimp/human attacks me it could be for no reason other than bloodlust and spite.

    Honestly humans.

That live near me? Moose, those frickers freak me out, call me a schizo but I unironically believe they're evil ancient nature spirits given form
Globally, Hippos or Chimps, though I do think Chimpanzees are based the last thing I want to run into is one in heat or just irritable for whatever reason

Larger primates like the other anons said. Also anything with sharp teeth in a country where rabies is a thing, because rabies is fricking horrifying.

Oh yes, and that funny 90s killer baboon movie Shakma too. Scared me as a kid, though looking back it's kinda ridiculous.

Jaguars (Onças), thank god they are so scared of humans but if you see one of these in the jungle and it decides it wants you dead and you dont have a riffle on you, thats it, you are dead, they run faster than you they climb faster than you and even if you happen to jump on the Amazon river, they swim better than you

At this point I'm legit more scared of the drug cartels that patrol the amazon than any animal living there.

Nematodes and other creepy parasites. You can't even see them and they can just climb inside you through various means, then kill you from the inside out

I'm so fricking afraid of Gorillas is not even funny. I feel like if one of them started attacking me It wouldn't be a quick death. Every punch would be so painful, with each strike causing more concussions and internal bleadings. And as you are dying on the floor you have to hear thoes devilish monkey screans getting lounder and lounder. I can't think of a worst way too die.

      Luckily gorrillas are mostly peaceful.

      Unlike these fricking things

      Anonymous

They actually have far weaker punches than humans due to their proportions (legs too short relative to the arms). No, what they do instead is grab onto you and literally rip you apart.

gorillas don't scream actually. they can grunt if they try really hard but the are the silent species of the family.

Basically all primates because they're clever and fast moving and could at least rip out an eye before you have the chance to do anything against them. Crocodiles and Sharks because of their unthinking nature and the advantages they have when meeting them in their natural environment. Killer Whales, although I understand that they're not really a threat to humans they still freak me out because of their size and their vicious and cruel ways of dealing with prey. Cougars because they're fast and strong and can attack with both their claws and their teeth. I think that's mostly from playing RDR2 and having them ice you out of nowhere. Komodo dragons. I'm always worried about encountering a Pitbull while I'm running but they're thankfully not very popular where I live.

As for animals I actually do encounter semi-regularly, horses because of their cruelty and physical superiority. Seriously you will never meat a nastier and more vindictive animal than a horse. Magpies. And venomous snakes, especially red belly blacks which move in a sinister manner that almost suggests they know they can kill you.

      >especially red belly blacks which move in a sinister manner that almost suggests they know they can kill you
Red bellies are like by far the friendliest of the Australian elapids. They're bros
      >Komodo dragons
Out of every animal that can realistically kill you this has gotta be the most gruesome and painful way to go

        >Manages to bite you
        >Escape with a bad wound
        >Wound gets infected
        >Komodo dragon follows your scent across the island, other catch wind of it and tag along
        >Slow down until you can no longer walk
        >They slowly show up
        >Start ripping you apart
        >If you manage to stay up high in a tree you'll probably die from the infection

        >They're bros
I get that like nobody has died from a bite in ages but something about that menacing flash of red coupled with the generally sinister nature of snake movement does something to my brain. Makes me feel hyper aware, I get this weird focussed tunnel vision thing like I'm observing everything from inside my skull. Doesn't happen with other snakes.

        >As for animals I actually do encounter semi-regularly, horses because of their cruelty and physical superiority. Seriously you will never meat a nastier and more vindictive animal than a horse
I've spent a lot of time around horses and fear is somewhat warranted.
These animals can kill you with a single kick, you're just hoping they don't realise it. It's why training manners into horses is so damn important and yet so many owners refuse to do it. It infuriates me. It's not hard to train a horse to walk alongside you when you're leading them. Or simple queues such as reverse, or step aside.

Yeah most of the horses I deal with are shit head rich peoples horses that they don't care for and dump onto other peoples land. They go stir crazy from lack of attention I think, and just start lashing out at you when you try and do anything with them. Biting, kicking, charging, rearing up. Such powerful animals man.

    poisonous snakes

      Anonymous

There's very few poisonous snakes, and even then their poison by definition isn't an issue unless you try to eat them. Venomous snakes, on the otherhand...
Actually even then, we have antivemom for most snakes (though there are a few where this won't help you much, like the Gaboon viper. Or if you just can't get to a hospital). Large constrictors are more dangerous (if much more rare) since they can kill a man in minutes and once you're grappled by a 300 lbs dragon there's not much you can do.
