This year in Canada there was catastrophic losses in the beekeeping industry.
Because of how fricked up our world is lots of farmers rely on trucks of bees being brought to their farms in order to operate.
With no bees, the blueberry harvest was fricked.
Perhaps not coincidentally, I didn't see of the normal in-season blueberry hauls at the grocer this year.

It's pretty much understood that if your bees forage near places like farms or golf courses you're basically fricking them to death

Golf courses I understand (though what's there even to harvest in the first place?), but why farms? Because of pesticide use?

Not to far from me a guy has bees and he lives right across from a golf course so idk what he's talking about. But I've watched an interesting documentary on YouTube years ago called beings of frequency and its talking about how cell towers, wifi and bluetooth etc is fricking with us and it also seems to be killing off bees and etc too.

There are pretty valuable golf courses though, those that leave decorative islands of wildflowers and shrubs in the fields of lawn.

    >literally anything happens
    >GLOBAL WARMING DID THIS
And that's how you know it is a pseudoscience cult.

A far more likely answer is pesticides, fungi (which all non-warm blooded animals are very susceptible to), or even pollution in the soil.

electric cars keep zapping the bugs, an electric car can create a 20 feet radius electric shield that is harmless for most animals but roasts insects. thanks California

Is it possible bugs have just evolved to recognize roadways as dangerous? Roads are pretty distinct designs of black with yellow, and cars tend to be bright and fast moving. Is it too much of a stretch that flying insects have adapted and learned to avoid these issues like they would any other predator or natural phenomena?

They don’t just look at how many bugs are killed on windshields to count the population decline. They use light traps, pitfall traps, etc to actually monitor them

This, the last data I saw we've already lost 3/4 of the insect biomass we had 50 years ago
