the EU wants to remove the protection to wolves because they ate a pony from a EU member:
>- The pony's name was Dolly
>- The wolf has serial number GW950M, part of the gang Burgdorf Pack well-known livestock-murderer
I hate germans so much it's unreal
I dont understand why culling predators is controversial, especially when theyre naturalized to humans and preying on livestock
I live leafland and own a home in the boonies outside of the containment zone and also have a place inside the containment zone where i live part time and make money
Outside of the containment zone coyotes are open season all the time
People set traps on public land or shoot them when they when they get too comfortable
Ive heard the argyment that for every coyote you kill a dozen more are born to fill its place or whatever and my honest opinion on that is WHO CARES?
Id rather have 100 normal human fearing wild coyotes than a single naturalized one encroaching on human settlements without fear. Shooting them instills such fear
Inside the contaiment zone where scaring coyotes hurts everyones fees, they become so naturalized and brazen from eating pets without consequence they start attacking people
I can understand people who want to protect their homes or livestock from predators. I don't have a big problem with that. The stories about predators that lose their fear of humans are not pleasant. I can't judge people who are worried about the well-being of their pets, livestock, or sometimes even family members.
The thing that annoys me here is how problems matter only if a high-level EU official is affected by them. von der Leyen could've had a little bit of empathy for all the pitbull mauling victims, or terrorist attack victims, or those who have financially suffered from COVID restrictions, or those who can barely afford food or electricity anymore due to soaring prices, and so on; there are so many serious issues to deal with today. But the problem she decides to tackle are wolf attacks. And she cares about that only because it was her pony that died. If someone else had lost a pony, it wouldn't have mattered. The same wolf had apparently killed 12 sheep and cows before it attacked the wrong animal.
>expecting anything but psychopath behavior from somebody literally called von der Lying
Only rich or powerful people really "matter". The rest of us just live and work to maintain their hedonistic, single player esque lives.
>EU only starts to care when the wolves are going after their property
Wolf should've eaten her instead
Wolves know well enough not to go for spoiled carcasses unless they're truly desperate.
What if, just what if you build fences and stop killing wolves main preys in the wild?
Fucking retards.
but then they have to make a committee to oversee the fence construction, and another to run maintenance, then another to check the fences feelings, and all of this is this means theres less money going into free education and healthcare
Yeah, because EU education is top notch.
Oh, wait.
It's not a money problem, it's a "muh feefees" problem.
Woosh
Good.
Wolves have no place in current densely populated Western Europe. I'm convinced they were released by hippie retards and wolves will become an actual problem and danger there over the next few years.
So what you're saying is the Indians should exterminate their tigers?
Yes.
>"i hayt anymuls im vry edjy"
'Man is what he is, a wild animal with the will to survive, and (so far) the ability, against all competition...The universe will let us know—later—whether or not Man has any "right" to expand through it'
India has vast swathes of land that is sparsely populated. This is not the case in Western Europe and the tiger has not been extinct in India for hundreds of years as the wolf has in Westeren Europe. You could have come to this conclusion yourself.
Tigers and leopards kill about 100 Indians a year, elephants kill about 500. Wolves in Europe kill 0 Europeans a year. So obviously the imaginary lower population density areas you claim all Indias wildlife is confined to aren't en effective messure. The Netherlands is also the only European country which isn't a city state with a population density higher than India as a whole. And "hey we systemically exterminated all the wildlife that was inconvenient to us, so now you have to preserve yours" is a pretty fucking shitty argument.
conservation efforts of any kind is futile anyway, humanity has already exterminated 60% of all wildlife in 50 years and nature is on the brink of total collapse.
humanity as we know it will follow shortly after
She's in Equestria now.
>humans have become so domesticated they lost their way.
shocker
Retarded but wolves should've never been reintroduced so it's a two wrongs makes a right situation
>wolves never should've been reintroduced
stop eating sheep and hiking around without a care you pussy gay
wolves are fine if you're not gay
Yeah, humans just gonna accept being on the menu again and build walls around their cities all the time to keep the dangerous predators out.
They only attack lone retarded children in the middle of the woods at night. By your logic we should have exterminated bears and pumas too because retards want to go hiking alone.
It's clearly because of the fucking sheep. Don't lie. You know sheep doesn't even taste good? it doesn't.
Sheep are used for wool, gay.
>Wool
Trash fabric. Scratchy, waterlogs easily, shrinks over time. It pretty much says "we're too poor for hides".
Wool suits are $500+
Silk suits are $1500+. I was speaking in the context of early man. Sheep are for retards that can't farm hide-bearing animals on a large enough scale.
Silk is fancy but it ain't going to keep you warm in winter.
>Sheep are for retards that can't farm hide-bearing animals on a large enough scale
It's smart then, if you know you can't then that's the alternative. A real dumb move would be to do nothing.
You see any sheep in the yukon?
>do nothing
if only the sheepfags did...
>you can't tan sheep hides because you just can't okay
god I hate you retards who make these stupid arguments because you backed yourself into some corner with your own idiocy rather than just admitting your wrong on one thing and moving to another angle.
holy filtered
>Yeah, humans just gonna accept being on the menu again
when was the last time a person had been eaten by a wolf in Europe after reintroduction programs? Only farmers with cattle complain because they do eat it. Though luck, I don't demand all phytophagous insects exterminated because they eat my ornamental plants, I take precautions to protect what's mine and leave the rest be
Retard.
>"Wolves killed one of mah 'onies"
>"Well, the only logical solution is to kill the entire species."
Yep that sounds like German phylosophy alright.
business idea: fences
As much as a ponyfag that I am, I do not agree with that idiotic mindset. Erradicating wolves is not the right solution.
This anon gets is.
That requires the EU to invest in something that isn't housing for migrants and destroying local farmland you silly goose.
but horses are migrants, theyre not native to europe
Citation needed.
they literally evolved in america
Yeah, and wolves evolved in america too. have you ever heard about holoarctic animals, dumbass?
That still doesn't discount the original contention that horses aren't native to europe, because they're fucking not.
>EU
>wanting to exterminate locals to protect their imported assets
What a shocker.
If this happened in the US and they exterminated wild animals over some retards unsupervised invasive free-ranging pet I'd be out there with a silenced 300blk popping horses from the highway.
Dog cat or horse you let it roam around in nature it's part of nature, and usually that means food. You are entitled to no more than personal revenge. If society is going to extirpate a whole species because of your baby feelings maybe humans shouldn't have those pets.
Absolutely based. Don't hit any power substations by accident.

>Wolf gangs
Nice language to scare people. I guess calling them packs doesn't conjure a mental image of a ruthless young wolf with tats and a gat
