So, how does it feel to the touch?

Was it completely covered with rattail-like scales, which are found on the impressions of its abdomen and tail?

They're not glowBlack folk. They're just spoiled brats that need to be punched in the face.

So I'm confused now. When did science stop being about discovering the truth and start being about making people mad?

The 1990s. And this is unironically how a lot of college educated millennial and zoomer morons act. Now you know why shit so fricked up.

Based on the "logic" used for restoring feathered dinosaurs, it should be safely assumed to have a full coat of shaggy fur until proven otherwise. And even when proven otherwise, just ignored.

Was Dimetrodon more primitive than modern crocodilians?

It's a lot earlier, but it's a different line of animals.

Palaeontology Fans get mad when the truth is/may be something they disagree with. No one can stop them from getting mad, so one might as well enjoy the show.

You're such a moronic b***h. Your mother must be deeply ashamed.

Was Dimetrodon more primitive than modern crocodilians?

      - Dimetrodon was cold-blooded (crocodile is secondarily cold-blooded).
      - Crocodile is capable of a full sagittal gait - Dimetrodon is not.
      - Crocodile's shoulder girdle is more developed and more flexible.
      - Dimetrodon and crocodile brains have roughly the same structure.
      - Dimetrodon has the rudiments of mammalian tooth differentiation (only rudiments), while the crocodile has a fully developed archosaurian dentition.

By all indications, the crocodile is a more progressive animal in comparison with Dimetrodon, despite its conservatism.

I think I remember it being said that it was thought that they had oily secretions from their skin, so their skin might not have been so dry but kind of comparable to ours.

The presence of scales on the belly and tail makes sense, since sphenacodonts did not yet have a normal sagittal gait and often had to drag their belly right along the ground. The rest of the skin really was most likely naked and glandular.

When it lived is too early for fur. There’s no evidence for fur until coprolites from the later parts of the Permian with therapsids, at the very bare minimum.
