Kitten Died Yesterday.

My kitten got out of the house and I saw him get run over yesterday while I was trying to get him back.

I cant get the accident out of my head, the resulting seizures, and him fading in my family's arms.

We found him abandoned behind a Dunkin' Donuts by himself. I took him to the vet each time and would comfort him after every shot he had to take. He loved to play and cuddle up with me every night for bed. He couldnt have been more than ten months old. I miss him.

Take care of your animals. Wish him luck for whatever the next stop of his journey is.

We would let him out into our back yard a couple times per day with someone. Unfortunately he had learned to jump at this point so he would just hop the fence and get out into the neighborhood.

This had happened a couple times before, with each time him having made trying to get him a chase since he liked the running. This time there just happened to be a car in his path.

Fortunately he passed quickly, he was only ten pounds so for him it was likely nearly instant.

Sorry about that, that’s why always insist on keeping your cats supervised. But accidents happen…

Bro, OP says his cat got out of the house, implying it normally stays in the house.

OP, I'm sorry for your loss, I'm sure he had a good life with you even if it was a short life. Always keep an eye on the little buggers, cats love to try to escape because they don't know the dangers of outside. They don't know what's good for them. Good on you for doing your best and taking care of the kitten, and I'm sorry again.

Don't care, OP's failure still cost a life. What a bad argument anyway. People are normally on the inside of an airplane so it's fine if the cabin gets depressurized and everyone is sucked into the sky.

Oh yes of course the car is completely fine and natural it's the animals desire to be outside that must be curbed to accomodate the car

It shouldn’t be this way, but some people just won’t care/notice if there’s an animal in their way. Cars are everywhere too so the chances of a critter encountering one only gets higher.

Unless you’re somewhere where there’s little to no cars or has residential speed limits strictly enforced it’s probably for the best if you only let most pets outside on a leash or with supervision if you want to keep them for a good while.

How about the fox? Coyote? Hawk? Eagle? Dog in their own yard? Human that doesn’t have want shit stirred in with their topsoil? Skunk? Raccoon?

Pets just don’t belong roaming around outside

Don’t forget they always want your dog put down for putting down a trespassing cat
              >NOOOOO A CHILD WILL BE NEXT
Cats aren’t children homie even the dog knows that. Cats are dogs inferiors. Squirrels with claws. Dogs hunt prey, cats catch vermin.

Benadryl + extra strength liquid tylenol + canned salmon

We actually put the family cat down this way because he had tumors in his face, vomited when he drank water, and was almost 20. He just went to sleep and didn't wake up. More peaceful than a gunshot.

Prioritize the safety of important animals (birds) and you won’t have a problem. Capisce?

The harm caused by humans and machines cannot possibly be compared to harm caused by cats. The latter is probably not even a percent of the former.
So imagine the widespread effect of building a road City and having a truck around there already wiped away a lot of local wildlife or sent them running before the cats even had a chance of pouncing on one and before it itself got squished under one.
