Kittens really don't have much interest in humans right now unless they have a toy, most kittens I've cared for at this age have been interested in humans by this age.

Is this a sign that they're likely to grow up aloof?

I'm no cat expert, but I didn't think that cats had entire litters that looked like them

Hey looks identical to the kitten that I found abandoned a few months ago next to the shop.
Turns out he was barely lost from his parents somewhere near, found her bro and a parent walking around monday but couldn't stop, next day I find out that someone poised his dad (yea the dad took care of the kittens)... wtf is wrong with humans.

My orange male cat loves kittens, he mentored one of my current cats when they were small

Have you been petting them along the way? We had to take care of some stray kittens that we found in our shed without a mother, and we ended up keeping one, and he is addicted to pets because we would constantly pet them and talk to them while they ran around their pen. Some cats just never appreciate pets, though, two cats at my parents that don't really like it, despite us caring for them from kittens as well.

Yeah, they will play with you but don't care for pets.

But they also don't purr which is weird, not even when nursing. Their mom purrs, maybe dad has weird purring genetics?

Probably. Not that thats a bad thing, but I would be hesitant giving one of the kittens to a place with young children.

There is a boy who is really independent, he is going to a neighbors teenage daughter.

There are two sisters who are always together, they're going to my sister.

The mother is going to a family friend.

I guess for my sister the best plan is to maybe give them treats/wet food right after petting them to condition them to like human attention?

try putting them down, their necks are still brittle and weak. it's the best time to do what must be done, the more humane way too

Schizophrenia is a severe brain disorder that affects how people perceive and interact with reality, often causing hallucinations, delusions, and social withdrawal.

My brother is schizotypal. That's all of the delusions, paranoia and social withdrawal of schizophrenia with none of the hallucinations. He's an absolute nutter.

In my experience, cat personalities vary quite drastically kitty to kitty so if these cats are aloof, that's the end of it, isn't it? Best you can do is acclimate them to human presence and interaction but know that they'll likely never seen it out themselves.

I'm not sure. I hoping once we separate them from the mom and get them food motivated human contact will become more interesting to them.
