Orcas are our brothers and together we will conquer the stars. They will make natural pilots and will also be able to help us capture aquatic planets. The aliens will bow before the might of Terra and will serve their human and orca rulers.

These things were the reason I was afraid of the beach and ocean in general, seeing a video of an orca going off shore to grab a seal and drag it into the ocean was terrifying.

The wild ones are chill with humans, they know we're supreme hunters. I was on a whalewatching boat with my grandma and we got in a superpod, the guides counted 21 or 22 orcas, they were pretty excited because they hadn't ever seen a group that big before. They said that a couple of times people in kayaks had been offered a salmon, like they bring it up to you and hold it for you to take, but nobody had accepted the fish yet.

Doesn't that just make them scarier? They are giant evil predatory fricks with a complex enough language to pass on to their relatives that we too are evil predatory fricks.

that’s so rude! if you’re offered food you accept it even if you don’t want it. people suck.

Are Orca warm blooded? Would cuddling with one feel the same as cuddling with human?

"Killer Whale" was actually a mistranslatuon.
The proper name is "Whale Killer".

    Also:
Tilikum (a male orca owned by sea world) sired 75% of the orcas born in captivity

And he killed 60% of the people who are known to have died from orca attacks in history.

Although there have been many interesting incidents with wild orcas (attempting to flip ice flows to get to sled dogs, attacking boats, even attempting to rescue captured orcas) there is not a single case of a wild orca killing a human.

Source? And if true, perhaps they're simply eating the already dead corpses which wouldn't be killing. I'd nonironically be interested in any sources you have to read on this.

...this is predatory behavior, it's baiting the people on the boat like that one orca baited the pelicans at sea world.

we don't have enough of the video to know for sure. it looks like the orca fricks off after the meat delivery, which would be a non-predatory action.

Well I'd take the bait to be know as the only guy who died to a wild orca(I don't think the orca would actually attack of course)
