Seems like even a good human bite to the jugular is enough to make one sleep.

      >game biologists
Shouldn't game biologists know that you can't reach the jugular that easily? The bear just suffocated because it had a fucking arm stuck in it's windpipe. Teeth my ass you would barely be able to bite it's skin.

even a giant salty would lose to a bear on land.
crocs are absolutely useless as fighters, they turn so slow and any large predator just outmaneuvers them with ease. there's video of a bengal tiger killing a mugger crocodile, and it just dances around it till it tires out(which is fast, crocs don't last long) and then takes it back.

Alright a tigers pushing it with a grizzly. Maybe a black bear though

They kill black grizzlies in Russia which are larger than the interior grizzlies in North America so it's very possible, the bear could still easily turn the tables. The numbers for how often tigers win are a bit inflated though since they hunt bears while bears don't hunt tigers

I think a full grown bloodlusted grizzly would have a fair fight with a hippo or rhino. I'm gonna pretend that grizzlies and polar bears share some sort of cool international bear alliance so I'm also disregarding that one. Elephants yes, you're right

        >I think a full grown bloodlusted grizzly would have a fair fight with a hippo or rhino
A rhino would be extremely hard since they're capable of doing a 360 spin unlike hippos/elephants so it'd be near impossible to hold onto the back end of the rhino

brown bears are biggest in Russia after polar (they are slightly smaller than grizzlie which only live in America), their conflict with tiger would be 50/50 my noclue guess and i doubt they would even fight in most cases
