    >Is owning pets unethical?
The way that many (perhaps most) people keep pets, I think yes.
I'm not authoritarian or left wing politically, quite the opposite, but I think pet ownership should be more regulated in some way, or licensed. Too many people play around with animals' livelihoods like it's a game, with no regard for their long term health and well-being. Unfortunately, it's much the same with children.

The only reason they are being unethical pet owners is because they themselves have unethical owners who treat their lives like service periods for industrial equipment.

Crating dogs for hours on end without food, water, or entertainment, neutered indoor cats left alone for days, its all modern abominations spurred on by other abominations. There is nothing that can replace them but more evil unless the devil is cut off at the source.

Some people just have no capacity for empathy, some aren't capable of understanding how to care for another living being, and nothing will change that. I wish it was a simple problem with a simple solution.

capacity for empathy is correlated with intelligence 😉

And there will always be stupid people. That's why my suggestion for licensure is merited, it would filter out people incapable of completing a simple gradeschool test, thereby filtering out those with the least capacity for empathy.

              >there will always be stupid people
              >can conceive of licensing for pets
              >can not conceive of licensing for reproduction and sterilizing the failures
imagine instead of slightly happier cats, near-0 crime rates.

                Who are you quoting?
Do you realize that licenses are something that most people already willingly accept as a part of everyday life, and that eugenics is not?
You have no practical ideas, bye.

Why do you think people need to accept anything

Most of them are disarmed. They can comply or die.

Yes kill all pets and then let wild animals in, 10 for each pet, to vandalize and shit everywhere, spread diseases and attack us.

You will own nothing and you will be happy. You can rent the pet out and walk it in our Park™ for a small fee though.

Only if the owner is incompetent or treat their pet as a living accessory, so generally yes. Since people love to compare animals to kids, is having kids unethical? Plenty of parents treat their kids like garbage.

      >is having kids unethical? Plenty of parents treat their kids like garbage.
In many situations I'm inclined to say yes. But does that mean only the happiest, healthiest, and wealthiest should be allowed to breed? Civilization as we know it would collapse.
At the most extreme end of the argument there are a few that argue all human procreation is unethical because life comes with suffering and the kid has no choice in experiencing it. Though I suppose you need to be alive to even experience a lack of suffering at all.

Before you consider any of this, remember the same people who think not getting literally whatever you want is torture also think that YOU not getting literally whatever you want is normal and any discontent you experience is a mental illness.

the difference is the pet is an unneeded excuse to buy and we are a needed part of the serfdom without which the upper class would have to do some work themselves or resort to more hired violence than usual. the pet can be replaced with drugs instead of vets and food. you can only be replaced with a highly advanced robot and then sent to die in a war.

things like happiness and social stability dont factor in here. take your prescribed medication and disorders incompatible with living your life correctly will be treated.

    >the animal that spent 40,000 years evolving to live with us cant be happy with us
    And then there’s cats

If you cant keep a dog happy it’s likely that you are unhappy. And oppressed. By who? Oh. You know.

      Dangerously close to the truth.
      >owning a dog is immoral because you have to work 40-60 hour weeks. Sorry you can’t make it work.
      >Because i FUCKING WHAT
      >think of my prof… the GDP.

don’t forget there isn’t enough room in the pod you have to live in and you all have to go vegan. the planet must support 20 billion people if welfare payments are to continue and my family is to continue never doing any work from cradle to grave.

if THEY want to take that angle THEIR entire system of employment and economic power is unethical. every banker president king and senator must be slaughtered like the pigs they are and man must be allowed to live freely as the hunter gatherer he is.

oh wait we cant do that because then our lives are shorter and more violent?
hey that sounds like what happens when you let your pets be "free", free of such inconveniences as not being allowed to even try to do whatever you want. WEIRD.

i propose they actually want pets gone because they allow you to socially separate yourself from the masses which enables some resistance to propaganda even for a 90 QI goy.

Honestly a little. But I think the positives for both us and the pet usually outweigh the unethical bits. I think it's always unethical to own an uninjured bird, even though I love them.

      >entire system of employment and economic power is unethical. every banker president king and senator must be slaughtered like the pigs they are and man must be allowed to live freely as the hunter gatherer he is.

uh oh did he touch on the truth sweatie? that you are oppressed? that you aren't free? that it was never about ethics, and just securing more control and getting more profit out of your short, owned life?

is that why you need to start making up stories about people being virgins?
