Eu k9 security guard here, we train our dogs in conjunction with police and they do the same tests for acceptability as us. Our dogs are pretty fuckin extatic to train and to throw themselves at whatever, though typically a padded arm, and the only parts of the training that are properly uncomfortable for the dogs are things like fear tolerance, where we train them to not be scared of things such as loud noises or walking on weird surfaces (many dogs have problems with walking in steep stairways or on grated floors).
Of course, nobody wants to have to give the command to bite, but if necessity comes then necessity comes.
I can't speak for everyone else in my country, and even less for any other country, but the dogs I've seen, owned and trained are happy.

pretty sure the police dogs actually have fun doing what they're doing. It's mostly barking at people for intimidation, chasing after someone or sniffing for something, wich is natural dog behaviour after all. not so sure about the horses, although a good old fashioned cavalry charge to shatter the plebeian mob can be quite kino.

Animals are not sentient anon, they a limited capacity for emotion and thought. It would be hard to say whether they "like it" or "dont like it".
However, I can tell you I would much rather be tazed, pepper sprayed and even shot over having a canine officer shred my arms and legs.

A lot of dogs are sentient but some working lines clearly aren’t, or are less sentient. They have had one instinct enhanced and mutated until it took over their mind. Its true… why would a sentient animal obey a command every time without reward no questions asked?

If you are so unfortunate to be visited by the army rejects, they are more likely to shoot your dog than a robber. They can dome aggressive blacks all they want but if they shot my collie for greeting them with her cute growling noises i’d napalm the precinct and bar the doors.

What do you even mean? It appears as though you're trying to say "Stalinism is an example of left wing authoritarianism" (which is evidence against the statement that authoritarianism "doesn't conform to a left/right dichotomy") and I might not disagree with the idea that Stalin is what you say he is, but you clearly aren't worth listening to on this subject anyway.

The only way I have of discerning your own ideology is with reference to the point you're trying to contradict, which is, given a fully contextualised understanding, completely factual.

Start by looking up the origins of "left wing" and "right wing" as it pertains to a conventional understanding of politics.

A lot of cops are le bad and departments are purposefully hiring retards and failures because they have a 0% chance of displacing senior officials, doubting their orders, or reinterpreting the law.

Stupid people are extremely good at enforcing the law as the law is written. They do not think about things. If you scream something into their head and get them chanting they believe that and their automatic response to any arguments against their new belief is anger, hatred, and violence. Like a chimp that just saw another chimp eat fruit out of turn. They don't have full self awareness and don't want it.

Cops are abusive neanderthals, and when they aren't abusing the citizenry and their own spouses and children they will also abuse animals. I'm sure you've seen the people on here who have no love for animals or consideration for their welfare but weigh the value of an animal by how useful it is as a resource or as a tool? That's the mindset of many cops.
When it comes to drug dogs it's well known they frequently give false positives and have become a tool to circumvent the 4th amendment (and similar rights to privacy)
The only good use of animals by police are bloodhounds used to locate people who may need help.

it's weird how this isn't more discussed. Police will literally train to give a positive on command so that they can search your vehicle without a warrent and we are all ok with this?

yes it's wrong, animals should not be used as weapons
it puts the animals in dangerous potentially lethal situations and it does a lot of damage to the publics opinion of them
people would not be irrationally scared of german shepherds and belgian malinois if they weren't so commonly used as police attack dogs

If a breed was bred for generations to do a particular task, it seems cruel NOT to use it for that task. Lots of dogs need to work in order to be satisfied. Otherwise they get neurotic.

Cops are massive pussies that were either too scared to join the army or were turned down. Literally anything that makes them uncomfortable gets shot. An extremely friendly dog walking towards them going "rooooo!" would get shot. At least 5 times.

I'm unironically a criminologist. The vast majority of police officers never draw their guns against a person. Even when they do draw a gun they rarely shoot.
The most common situation for an officer to shoot a gun (besides training) is actually shooting a mortally wounded animal, such as a deer that got hit by a car

I had a dog once that was from a line of, ironically, sheep herders. The dog had never herded anything in its life but whenever I playes outside with him, he would act like he wanting to herd me by nipping my ankles. If it was bred for it, why not use it for its job. Put their drive to work doing what it wants to do.

      >They abuse the fuck out of their dogs
Checked, actually not so much anymore and it is a big part of how they increased the functionality of their working dogs. Not long ago, for police as an example, they were so shit at training them, all a police dog could really do is help protect a single officer, that was the extent of their functionality. Now they are literal multi tools, with scent and protection work etc in one single dog, this is actually because they stopped being so abusive and learned a more science based approach to dog training (balanced training).

        Anonymous

They still break their spirits and manipulate the fuck out of their minds with cruel methods like solitary confinement. The they whitewash it all by renaming everything
        >training tool
        >science based
        >balanced training
        >no no no they have arousal and calm dogs dont have emotions!
Police dogs hardly act like normal dogs and they start with breeds that are mentally ill to the point you doubt they have any awareness to begin with (they call a hyperactive dog with pure instinct and no thought it hasnt been taught to have “drivey” - these fucks cant be trusted alone with water and they will eat everything that fits in their mouth. a far cry from gentle, sensible collies that are just a little OCD. Their brains are nearly blank slates.)

Basically they are officer symbiotes derived from dog stock. Use them as a reference for later. This is also the future of soldiers. Highly capable of learning, incapable of thinking, extremely restless and violent.

No, breaking wills is common in “balanced” and “structure” oriented training and can make prussian public school look like less of a prison. And necessary with these crazy fucking dogs because what little will they have is so neurotic and directionless that again, some cant even be trusted to drink water. Dont train dogs like k9s because k9s aren’t normal dogs. A husky or something might get hurt feelings over it but these “malinois” dont even feel it.
