I think I'm confident I can kill everything up to eagle, there's a lot of large dogs that would fuck me up.

a fit adult human male can take everything on that list up to wolf.
you have a slim chance to also take a bear, but it's so risky and requires 100% luck, that it's not really worth considering. croc is too tough to kill barehanded, but you could absolutely tire it out, take its back, and beat it to death with a rock(because crocs tire out so much faster than any mammal).

I feel like you could reasonably break its limbs and/or neck, is that close enough to dead? Eye gouge would be an easy one too. Maybe after the above, you could rip it apart by the anus as a coup de grace?

    Easily/100% Success Rate:
    >Rat
    >House cat
    >Goose
    >Medium sized dog
    >Eagle >>(it's gonna hurt like Hell but a grown man really shouldn't lose this)
    Dangerous but definitely possible:
    >King Cobra >>(could almost go in above category, if you have experience handling snakes you'll know how and when to strike safely)
    >Large dog
    >Wolf
    >Kangaroo >>(how strong are they really? I've never heard of someone fighting these to the death in a non-sporting arena)
    >Crocodile >>(depending on species/size; I can't imagine there's much you could do to harm a fully grown Nile Crocodile without a weapon of some kind, even if you can "disable" it)
    Most probably not:
    >Chimpanzee >>(as far as attributes go, maybe; in practice, it'd probably be just too fast and vicious to make the manoeuvres against it that you'd need to)
    Death wish:
    >Gorilla >>(we just don't have the natural weaponry to compete with these guys)
    >Lion >>(even if you could disable the jaws, you'll just get eviscerated by the claws)
    >Grizzly Bear >>(people supposedly have; I would not be one of them)
    >Elephant >>(where would you even begin?)

Crocidilians you just have to wrestle it onto its back, let it pass out, then you can choke and whatever else

Ah, I forgot they had that weakness! Still, I thing the same applies in that an adult Nile crocodile is going to be a b***h to shift anywhere against its will.

I feel like you could reasonably break its limbs and/or neck, is that close enough to dead? Eye gouge would be an easy one too. Maybe after the above, you could rip it apart by the anus as a coup de grace?

I'm honestly not sure if we're generally strong enough unassisted to do those things. Eye gouge is a surprisingly difficult concept with a crocodile, especially a large one. See pic: their eyes disappear into their head under armoured scales when they're closed, which I imagine they would be if you were trying to attack them there.

Kangaroo if you sucker punch you're fine. If you can't do that you die. That and the Casswoary will cut your balls off or guts open with their nails, that's why both kick.

Chimp: You are dead. Unlike Gorilla and Orange Tang Man boi they are like the urban chimp without self control and will mcmurder you in high blood.

Would wrestling a kangaroo and going for the neck break be viable, or are they just too well armed?

had a nice kek at this one. for any other animal on the list you could theoretically put it in a choke hold and choke it out. but what the frick are you going to do to an elephant?

People probably think elephants are slow so they can compound damage it until it dies. Either that or people filling in the poll are trolling.
Then again, some people claim they can beat up an elephant but not a grizzly bear. They're either moronic or very sophisticated trolls.

Didn't ancient humans kill the even more dangerous elephant to extinction?

With spears, teams of hunters, and very sophisticated techniques that involved using the environment. Humans are mid-tier in physical power, but are the apex hunters on the planet due to intelligence and creativity. We make rules for ourselves to make hunting harder. That's how good we are.

Not with their bare hands, one on one they didn't.

I think I can be confident when I say it is actually physically impossible for a single human being to kill an adult elephant with no weapon. The only thing you can even theoretically do is aim to gouge out its eyes, but good fricking luck actually getting to them without getting grabbed and slammed onto the ground instantly.

I crushed its skull using a piece of pvp pipe. I wasn’t unarmed, it would be harder with my bare hands and i would rather not risk tog et a bite unless I really need to kill it (for example lost in a place with no food)
