You don't have to accept it. Whether it's true or false it does not have any important consequences outside of the paleontology field. You could chose to believe the t-rex has massive mommy milkers and nothing would change.

Theropods had long legs too. My guts says they could do about 40 km/h as well.

Its bullshit. They'd have never spread as far as they did if they were just that slow.

T rex are pictured standing on their hind legs when they actually crawled on all fours, its expected their speed would be around that of an alligator or crocodile

Nice try, but you have to be pretty moronic to think you know better than paleontologists who have not just archeo/paleo degrees, but many other degress in fields of biology, physics, logic, and yes, even literature, art, and humanities!
They are smarter than you. That is why the things they say don't make sense to you, but make sense to them. Get over it, or learn for yourself, instead of talking shit like a human anus. Holy frick. Science is not reddit. It's not just based on metaphorical autofellatio and circle-jerking like sommeliers and art snobs. It's literally based on logic and evidence, and every "answer" that "science" provides, is literally followed by the unspoken disclaimer "until further evidence", which does not need to be said every single time just to pacify loud idiots who couldn't afford an education, didn't have the balls to run their own tests, or just couldn't even bother to read a few books.

Both wrong. T rex walked on its arms so it could freely use its legs for fighting

How do they even approximate a T-rex's speed? I know that paleo recreations make a lot of assumptions, but 27 km/h seems pretty specific for something with zero evidence

Google based that number on some computer simulation from 2017. I think google results are pretty inconsistent with these sorts of things. Sometimes it shows ranges and sometimes it shows absolute numbers. If you google the weight of polar bears it shows one number for males and a range for females.

because its just a dumb algorithm looking for the most popular source for that info, not curated by a person

A normal sized chicken can run 9 mph. And a rex is at least 10x that size. So it'd make sense if he could run at least 45mph.

Maybe the rex realizes that he's 10x faster than a chicken and thus never feels like running
