I live in the forest. My outside cat hasn't been back all day. Say a prayer for my whiskers de la hoya. Posted on May 3, 2023 by Anonymous I live in the forest. My outside cat hasn't been back all day. Say a prayer for my whiskers de la hoya.
A prayer sent your way, with hopes that this isn't a rageb8 thread
moron she/he is probably just looking for a mate. they dissapear for days during mating season.
God's speed whiskers
>I live in the forest
I pray to fucking God it died a horrifically painful death, you too
I don't even care if this thread is bait, I hope you die
Boy Wauf almost has a big enough hate boner for cats as it does for pitbulls.
>muh 6000000 dead birds oy vey
>muh outdoor cat
I mean yea outdoor cats are a bad idea, but everything else people say is a fucking meme.
There's been a marked accelaration of grief posting all over Wauf in the last 3~4 months. Some boards and generals have gone completely downhill. My theory is that Wauf is currently undergoing autopoietic ontogenesis into a formal ideal noema, and that the psychic frustration and weapon-grade stupidity we generate on a regular basis is its fuel in doing so.
If I am right, Wauf will soon iterate itself into an ideal principle such as Truth, Good or Reality.
in english doc.
Autopoiesis: a substance's property to define an interface at its limit, I.e. a "frontier". An oil dropped in water has strong autopoiesis, for example. It is the first step in the creation of life.
Ontogenesis : initial moment of creation for something.
Noema: the "object" side of a phenomena, opposed to its noesis, which is purely the "mind" side of it.
in layman's terms.
Jesus fuck. Ok.
You know warhammer 40k? How the space elves fucked so much and so hard their general horniness birthed a new Demon God?
Same thing is happening here, except its toxo posting instead of fucking.
yeah nothing like that is happening. this site is just going to continue to get worse. moronmoot has basically forgotten about it.
They get the dog version of toxo from using them as sex toys so much
Depending on where you live it might also have been an owl.
I'm not an edgelord like the anons above but yeah I think is bad for cats to roam outside unsupervized because they do kill birbs, I wouldn't let my dog do that, thats why I don't let my cat do it either
I pray your cat is mortally wounded and terrified
People who "control" coyotes (read: destroy the native ecosystem) for the sake of their unsupervised cat/dog are human garbage.
Keep your animals fenced, leashed, and supervised and leave the wildlife alone. I bet you're the kind of people who seethe when game wardens shoot free running dogs for harassing deer.
Why do you foster an animal that's obliterating ground nesting birds?
We are allergic. It followed us home this winter when we were shoveling the neighbors driveway. Was about a pound. Put out propane heaters to keep it warm and made a house for it. It survived and got big, now it's summer and it hasn't been home all day. I think something ate it and my kids are sad, and I'm sad for getting attached. Pretty shitty. I hope she's outside in the morning. I try to keep the coyote population in check, hadn't heard a howl in years. Hopefully she's just exploring. Left all the outside lights on for her and some food. Thank you for being rude.
>I kill off native animals to keep my invasive rat safe
Well I hope it fucking died and the coyote enjoyed it then. I hope you seethe hard and go out shooting them, just so a year later you have ten times more and you never see a cat for miles ever again.
You'll face your end one day, I hope you don't get eaten.
You'll face your end and your cat will immediately start eating your face without taking a single second to even hope you wake up
>I kill off native animals to keep my invasive rat safe
I looked up this "study" and there's like 1-2 studies about this shit that Reddit and all midwits keeps screaming about and all I could find was a single study that has a sample size of like 10 cats in a single area and they based their entire study around that. Other than that study it was pure speculation and guesses.
How did the "cats kill everything around them" meme even spread so much?
They don't belong here, for one, unless you're some nihilist fuck. They have been documented contributing to and causing multiple extinctions alongside free roaming dogs. They also attract and live in equilibrium with invasive rats and manipulate low-grade humans to be more destructive towards native predators because cats evolved to mimic the appearance, noises, and behaviors of human infants.
If you aren't an NPC and are aware of this, you keep your cat inside.
>They have been documented contributing to and causing multiple extinctions
Please cite some sources.
Most importantly it is plainly obvious that your pet, which is closer to a parasite than anything, should not take priority over the native ecosystem (which is coincidentally more noble and respectable than some vermin animal from africa). I genuinely hope the coyote enjoyed its meal and fed some to their pups.
Really? Cite the actual study instead of Wikipedia.
Wikipedia cites the studies secondarily. Do you want an essay written just for you, you lazy fuck?
Wiley is munching on mittens right now, inshallah.
Cite it then?
Click the link, there are citations everywhere.
It has half as many neurons in its cerebral cortex as a chihuahua. It can not comprehend exploration. It has an activity level, nothing more.
>It has half as many neurons in its cerebral cortex as a chihuahua
never claimed they had any intellect
cats are retarded but people that keep them indoors are cucks
>clicked the first cited link
>it's from an emotional article how cats are le bad and not native to Australi,a and therefor we need to keep breeding snakes and killing off all cats
>no studies or any sources
the exploratory drive is not related to neuron count, you factoid parroting pseud.
neuron count is related to how it is so fucking stupid anything resembling an "exploratory drive" is satisfied by a few tubes and a shoddy plywood tower wrapped in rope and cheap carpet.
>cat brain: yes, this is a forest.
>It can not comprehend exploration
it doesn't have to. they're instinctual robots seeking out territory and potential places to hunt.
>They don't belong here
> animal strive in nearly every habitat it enters
> IT DOESNT BELONG THERE
Seems like you just hate winners.
Not much of a winner if you have to struggle to exterminate superior animals to keep them from wiping your "winner" out. What would happen if someone went out with an AR-15 and started baiting and shooting cats as often as people shoot coyotes because
>muh heckin pets
Probably no more cats.
Keep clicking so you can stay distracted while the coyotes finishes eating
So you don't actually have a source for your claims? Got it
There are tons of sources. Keep clicking.
Regardless of their impact cats are disgusting vermin animals that behave like the rats they live in harmony with. Go coyotes.
Lmao fucking wrecked that guy
"Trust the science bro"
The "science": emotional hitpieces, guesstimates, cope and subjective opinions
he lied, you know that? he saw over a dozen sources cited and he lied
or shall i say - she.
In the US cats are the top 100 invasive species and the costliest
>Probably no more cats
Funny, even in countries where dogs run rampant and cats are actually a food source they still survive.
Cats are an apex entity because they mix great predatory skills aimed at a very large variety of food sources with the breeding cycle usually found in rodents.
That's not apex. They're a food source. What you are describing is "persistent vermin".
If humans stop feeding and sheltering them, like wild dogs they die out if there is no native equivalent and if there is, the stragglers are absorbed.
Your wrong Chaotica. Someone pushed the sel-destruct button before you boarded us!
You never owned a cat
I have raised 7 cats in my lifetime and every single one of them killed birds, squirrels, and even other cats
I live in the city so I didn't really give a fuck and let them in my backyard
They didn't stay there though, I had seen my cats in the city several times while grocery shopping or going to work
My cats would always bring me home the head of some animal they had killed
One day the head of a crow or Sparrow, another day a red squirrel
Was a real shocker the one day I opened my door to see my cat licking the severed head of another cat
Oh well I said
Not my problem
My cat goes outside. And by outside I mean she lays on the porch in the sun and occasionally goes down to the ground to eat some grass, then comes back. In 12 years of existence she's killed 4 animals, all mice who tried getting in during the winter.
But sure all cats are genocidal murderers with a killcount in the thousands.
>a single study that has a sample size of like 10 cats in a single area and they based their entire study around that
yeah that's how statistics work. when you see polls on the news about "what americans think about x", do you think every single american was asked about x?
also, do you really think those 10 cats' behaviors were so unique and special as not to apply to virtually every freeroaming cat out there?
coyotes have more of a right to life than your worthless cat
coyote = native species, more intelligent than a dog, mates for life
cat = invasive species, dumber than a chihuahua, same breeding patterns as a rat
i'll blast a few cats with the pellet rifle tonight in your honor
>confining an exploratory animal and having to maintain a litterbox that makes your house smell like literal ass
>but it harms muh wildlife and some random endangered bird that nobody gives a fuck about is about to go extinct
not my problem
Take it for walks then, retard.
>opens front door
okay now it's walking
