We are allergic. It followed us home this winter when we were shoveling the neighbors driveway. Was about a pound. Put out propane heaters to keep it warm and made a house for it. It survived and got big, now it's summer and it hasn't been home all day. I think something ate it and my kids are sad, and I'm sad for getting attached. Pretty shitty. I hope she's outside in the morning. I try to keep the coyote population in check, hadn't heard a howl in years. Hopefully she's just exploring. Left all the outside lights on for her and some food. Other than that study it was pure speculation and guesses.
