guys a stray cat attacked a bird in my garden. I shooed the cat away and took the bird on my balcony so it can't get to him. Put him in a straw basket with a cloth partially covering, a small water dish and some bird seed (i don't know if the bird eats seeds, it's a small black bird with black beak. I don't have any insects to give). I didn't see blood or feather damage but the bird couldn't fly, just rapidly flap the wings. It's still alive. Can I do anything else?

Take it to a vet if you can. Even if there are no obvious bite or scratch wounds cats carry a bacteria in their saliva that can kill a bird really quickly.

Reptile owners are all complete weirdo freaks that can barely function in society but the ones that collect snakes and large monitor lizards are the biggest buttholes so you may be on to something OP. I don't think I've ever seen someone who keeps tortoises wearing an ankle monitor.

you're only le alpha if you own an animal that can physically kill you (easily) and give it opportunity to. Things like pitbulls where it needs to drag you around for half an hour to actually kill you, no. Deadly animals you keep in a cage and feed through a tiny door with tweezers, no. Horses, bovines, large cats, crocodiles, ostriches(breeding season only), hyenas these are the kind of animals that have serious consequences if you don't read their body language. And before you're like horses are safe they average 3 times the fatalities dogs do in the US and have so many less people in contact with them. They might not mean to kill people but they can and do.

Husky owners really insist on their dogs being predators when they're actually twigs that any pit bull can feast on easily.

Huskies are pack animals. They specialize in small game, and the owner specializes in one shotting pit owners. That’s why pit pussies cross the street when they see a gigachud walking with his dogwife.

All pit owners have a built in political orientation detector they use to avoid breedists and gun owners. Nothing scares them more than conservative men, which is why they’re all concentrated in socal and new york.

I have 40 pit bulls and I train them to hop fences and attack random dogs. I drive to random places and release them. I adopt 40 pit bulls every month. I'm also injecting them with steroids so they're fricking huge and have so much muscle mass they resist bullets.

That looks a lot like the build of this female pitbull, just with less broad shoulders (excessively broad shoulders make dogs slower runners and more prone to injury, but better at holding in place. look at any wolf, they're narrower than dogs.)

Intact huskies get decently muscular but for some reason neutering destroys their body like it does for no other dogs. If you have an intact husky and let them run around every day like they're meant to they go ottermode, but if you "fix" them they're twiggy doughballs for life.

That one is actually doing really good, assuming they're spayed based on the small nipples, but some of them are so ripped you can see the muscles through their fur. Remember, a team of two huskies is expected to be able pull a 300lb sled+adult male musher at a jogging pace through knee deep snow. That would be like one pitbull dragging their twink owner through the mud for hours on end.

I guess shaving coincides with being a shitty dog owner so the average shaved husky is both neutered and cooped up inside all day. Pitbulls on the other hand are normally unfixed because their owners can't afford "no muh ya fuggin vet visits yo snob ass cracka cuz dat rabbi shot almos maxed out muh fugga visa SHIT" and get toned by running circles in their yard all day barking.

My husky when hooked up to a bike can yank my 6'2" 210lb ass up to nearly 30mph pretty fast and sustain that until he gets bored. I'm not shaving him and hurting his athletic performance because you think broader chested dogs are more built or alpha or whatever (their bodies do not work like humans - those are dogs that would tear elbows if they had to really run). The way his coat is now is very important to his endurance. Even if I fricked it up for you, you wouldn't be impressed by how his chest isn't broad.

                >muh broad chest
You're missing the fact that huskies lack any sort of muscle mass in the neck.

It means there's a bigger pool of people to pick from. 10% of cat/dog owners being dicks is far more people with a higher chance of encountering them than 10% of bird owners who also happen to be dicks.

explain geese. I jest but territorialism is huge in a lot of "prey" or herbivore, insectivore, all the shades of low level omnivores. I think sadisms, killing other things for amusement is mostly a predatory trait although I'm sure there's probably exceptions. Nature seldom favors altruism or being nice to things smaller, slower or dumber than you. There's counter examples obviously but I don't think they paint a more consistently accurate picture than "nature is cruel".
