Pretty whack how far so called animal lovers will perform mental gymnastics to justify their mutilations. They especially dont like it being compared to declawing.

It's mutilation, but I don't care. I like having a cat but don't want him pissing on my stuff. Therefore I will have him mutilated.

You sound like you can't actually take care of a pet. Cute laugh though

A severely damaged lady started randomly schooling me on a cat that lives near my house in a village of 10 people in the middle of nowhere. That I should do this and that to a male cat and that they are pets and whatnot and I'm irresponsible. I did not mutilate my cat because he has to be strong and independent and able to fight and frick, also I don't see cats, especially male ones, as completely domesticated animals. I give him food and water, play with him and pick the ticks he gathers while wandering around. Let me present her arguments: the cat will live longer neutered (a boring life, un-cat-like), i am projecting my own feelings onto him (in a way, but it's my character, i don't want to castrate or kill any mammals if not necessary), i am not taking care of my pet (he is not my pet, we cohabitate at times, you could call him a friend because he kills the mice), my methods are outdated (as if people 300 years ago didn't know how to live with nature). She has a cat. Says it's like a child to her. In a city apartment. She had to put nets on her windows because she escaped or tried to at least three times, jumping from second floor. Yeah, I bet her cat is happier than mine.
I would love to keep this cat I feed as an indoor pet, I love the little guy, but that to me is captivity. If you want a slave, get a dog, we made them for that.

I too believe in removing anatomy to make my life more convenient instead of learning to become a more responsible pet owner. Its why I declaw my cats so they don't rip up the furniture.

I have been calling humans hairless apes lately. Both in the internet and real life. Pretty whack how far so called humans will perform mental gymnastics to separate themselves from the animal kingdom. They especially dont like being compared to chimpanzees or orangutans.
    >ah but muh language
    >ah but muh learning
    >ah but muh tool use
    >ah but muh gay buttsex
    >ah but muh degenerate evil seed
    >ah but muh faith
All of these are observable in apes and monkeys. Ultimately, humanity is no more different than a chimp using a particularly large stick to reach for some bananas. All our conflicts, cultural symbols and interpretations of reality are the product of our ape instincts and ape behaviour.
Even now, this post is mere ape speak. I'm akin to a male specimen screeching at other males, seeking dominance and (possibly) fertile females.

      >Ultimately, humanity is no more different than a chimp using a particularly large stick to reach for some bananas.
NPC take. Only humans have souls which is what separates us from animals. However, not all humanoids are soulful. And hence some "humans" are indeed animals. I suppose it just comes down to your classification of human. You can just tell when you're talking to a husk. I don't consider them human anymore.

All animals and even many plants have souls, with a spectrum from highly organized and large to simple and small.

The real problem is, humans are capable of annulling their own souls through the same capabilities that they can grow them and ascend to spirithood, which limits them with either a limited ability to perceive only the most familiar or strong souls or a total disconnection from metaphysical reality.

You are such a person who has annulled their soul.

hes right. if you ever had a soul it’s gone now.

the idea that animals domt have souls is based on catholic pilpul. the kind of behavior that made jesus himself antisemitic.

Wtf are you talking about? The cat or dog is “fixed” (meaning neutered) or it isn’t. That’s the commonplace terminology, right? Have you been turning on the microwave with the doe open again Johnny?

Cats, unlike large dogs, are not healthier or happier intact. They don't gain anything from the hormones and aren't capable of coping with and redirecting the additional energy. They are simple minded sex and murder machines.

Before spay and neuter it was mandatory that cats be outdoor pets because they were intolerable otherwise.

The default state of the cat:
    Sex and murder machine.

    I wish I was a cat tbh

Do you have any non-shit studies showing this?
It should be harmful for them for the same reason it's harmful for dog, humans, and every other species.

I’ve been advocating for welcoming invasive species lately. I’ve been calling them “immigrant species” and we should bring more in to enrich our declining biodiversity. They seemed really upset when I do this, but how is this any different from welcoming human immigrants to our country?

This is vegan-tier logic. You’re projecting onto the cat and feel the cat’s castration as your own. You are not a cat, homosexual. Grow the frick up.
