Hard to say. We don't know as much about them as as other whales because they tend to avoid us. Only way to really study them is with free diving. Can't tell how much of this is bullshit but they seem fascinating

They are probably too smart for that. I can imagine a sperm whale helping a submarine in distress if it was able to recognize the situation as such but I can't imagine one being trained to do so.
