How do animals in your local zoo cope with the cold? Posted on December 25, 2022 by Anonymous How do animals in your local zoo cope with the cold?
>neices birthday at the zoo
>she absolutely loves me and spends most the day with me instead of the rest of the family because I'm the cool uncle
>zoo is doing some dinosaur thing with lifelike models that make sounds
>trex roars tho because of course
>neice is terrified of it
>grandma wants to take a family pic with it
>neice is way too scared to be next to the trex
>try showing her it ain't real
>say fuck it and just pick her up and press her against it's face
>her mom flips but my brother/her father was army and is cool with it and holds her back
>screams her ass off for a minute
>Eventually realizes it can't hurt her and we can take the pic
Sorry this pic just brought back that memory
Its not cold in here
Lions seems to enjoy snow.
I always wondered how the polar bear at my zoo fared when the summer temps would climb to 90 F. It seems a lot easier to keep an animal warm rather than cool.

Just get underwater bro
Fance that short for such a large animal can't possibly be safe
They should give the dino a blanket at the very least.
A dinosaur open enclosure, on a snowy winter day and without a place for the dinosaurs to rest in? Thats pure animal abuse, poor guy is so cold he looks like a statue.
No retard, it's obviously a statue.
Congrats my eyelid twitched
If it's a statue why does it need to be fanced off?
Anon, don't respond to bait. It's more than obvious that's a real dinosaur
They plucked all of his feathers too, how is he going to stay warm?
The visitors would pay more if the dinosaurs were scaly, so the zookeepers plucked every individual fetaher off of it to make it more marketable.
you think this is bad? in some places they let them starve until the dinosaurs are all bones!
they're covered in fur, bro
I'm sure the more reputable ones save shelters. Otherwise if the animal is cheap enough they just bin them in the off season.
The ones used to cold weather will be just fine. Crazy how good canine fur is, can withstand sub zero temperatures easily.
