    >On the other hand, why the frick is it so hard to find small farm animal processing videos that include the actual slaughtering of the animal?
    Here’s one:

Thanks bro. More interested in a start-to-finish demonstration than a compilation, but it's better than a PG fade to black so I'll take what I can get for now. I just wish a healthy view of animals was the norm instead of the two ends of "McNugget addicts refusing to think about how their food is killed" and "haha I'm endangering my pet snake and torturing this baby kitten for views" like

    https://i.imgur.com/oQAQkqe.png

I was just about to make a thread about these people lol. I'll just say here what I was going to say there
    >Perfectly acceptable and normal
Live feeding a pet that requires it, giving it standard feeding items such as fish, mice, bugs, maybe rabbits or guinea pigs only if you have something freakishly large that requires large amounts of food in one go
    >not ok
Taking clear pleasure in death, seeking more exotic and intelligent animals to feed to your pets, uploading or watching videos of it that have no entertainment or intellectual value other than the animal dying.

No you twat, locking a kitten in a tank with your python isn't "natural", and even if it was that doesn't make it acceptable. You, a sapient, "civilized" human are perfectly capable of making sure your predatory pet gets his sustenance and stays happy while completely minimizing or even removing entirely the suffering he causes to other animals as a predator, which is honestly truly remarkable. but instead you seek to amplify it, usually increasing the stress and danger your own pet experiences in the process.

And no, nobody finds your edgy bullshit cool or interesting, they see you the same was as they'd see some weirdo talking about whacking it to feet or some shit, they find you gross, which you probably can't even comprehend because you're autistic.

Yes, I AM mad, there is no shame in righteous indignance.

Kek I deleted that other post because I was wondering whether you meant farm animals that are small, or animals on small farms. Thanks for clearing that up.

All good. I've been off my meds a couple days because Memorial Day weekend fricked my shit but I just took one so I'll start making sense again soon. You're a real one.

    I sympathize with you, OP.

On the other hand, why the frick is it so hard to find small farm animal processing videos that include the actual slaughtering of the animal? I can find fifty videos of chickens being put in kill cones on YouTube but actually show the head being cut off and you're literally Hitler. I can find stupid vegans reacting to gore-y factory farm slaughtering on YouTube, but Farmer John has to tell me that he can't post shooting a goat in the head agaim or the rape gnomes will come after him and he'll have to shut his channel down.

I'm not trying to be some sick frick that gets off on the violence, I just want to learn different methods of slaughter and watch them happen in real time so I know how to do it myself in a couple years. I'd have an easier time finding animal abuse and Iraqi beheadings. I've seen men frick things from catacomb skulls to freshly caught catfish. But if a YouTube burger sees an animal die that they already eat 24 times a week, they shit their pants and go cry on TwitTok or whatever.

Don't even know my point anymore. Yes I mad.

    >translator's note: "I mad" means "seething" in zoomer

Thats just as bad. Humanity needs to lose about 5-6 billion units so that making lives and meat a factory process is no longer necessary. All meat should be grass fed, farm raised, and humanely put down, one at a time, and it should all be no more than 10 bucks for a single serving of meat
      >BUT DEMAND
Every migrant in America should be thrown out, every leech on the system should be deported unceremoniously without consideration or care to red tape it up. America should have a population of 10 million max.

          >The authorities wanted a guarantee that the prisoners would be treated humanely
          >Are you saying we should treat animals more humanely?
          >Most consumers want assurance that the meat they eat has been humanely slaughtered.
          >There is a growing appetite for meat raised humanely and without drugs.

      I agree with this.

I draw the line at adult rats to monitor lizards. A quick squeeze from a boa is okay. But when the draw is "15 MINUTES OF HELL!" oh no. That's sadism.

Hey, I threw my savannah monitor a couple rat pups today. He had to stalk/chase a little but then it's grab and gulp.

        >Even the largest pythons
No. A 15-20ft Burm or retic would need a big rabbit

Nah, for some ridiculously enormous pythons they do need rabbits, or even small pigs(those are so much harder to get alive than dead that they're not really worth mentioning though)
A SHOCKING amount of people own ridiculously enormous snakes that belong in zoos.

Good level-headed take. Neither "but bro it's nature lmao" or "NOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE CARE OF CARNIVORES". People have become so far removed from the circle of life that they either fetishize it or fear it. It doesn't occur to many people to treat it with respect and reverence.
I think there are plenty of instances where you can feed animals deceased prey items, but live-feeding is unfortunately a required process for certain animals. That doesn't give an individual a check to inflict suffering on the would-be prey item (and potentially the predator), but rather it is a process that you, as a human, must be involved in to make it as quick and painless as possible. And if you cannot uphold that basic obligation, then don't be surprised if society looks at your actions with contempt.

I have contemplated setting up a bioactive vivarium and getting a Pacman frog for two years now because look how goddamn majestic these fat bastards are but I only have a cat and a ball python and don't want to buy an animal I can't hold and interact with only for the novelty of funni froge eat bug to wear off and to not fully enjoy having it. I look up videos of animals I'm considering buying on YouTube to get a feel for the amount of work they are and how they act, but if you look up Pacman care videos half your feed is just subhumans putting them in battle royale scenarios with titles like PACMAN VS 7 LIVE HAMSTERS 99 GOLDFISH 1 BRAZILIAN CHILD (LIVE FEEDING).
