Good day?

Good day, Waufons! Greetings from Wauf!

Human survival, culture and development is shaped by our environment. And our environment is shaped by the humble fungi, it cultivates our forests, our meadows, lakesides and everything else not covered in permafrost.
Where brainlets cry about how humans are killing the planet, the planet's(Fungus) actual agenda is curating humans to get them off-world with earth flora and fauna needed for food to profligate earth-life across the stars. Baring a meteor strike to launch chunks onto other celestial objects, intelligent life is the best way for an all-encompassing ecosystem lifeform like the fungi to stretch over several planets.

TL:DR Fungi is horny and keeps us around for a hand-job.

Your question produces a participation bias.

Yes, we have a few moronic creationists here, and they're really likely to respond to your question.

No, most regulars here are not moronic creationists, but they're also not likely to respond to your question.

    Hope this helps.

i believe in intelligent design, but evolution is most likely a reoccurring phenomenon, hence the variety within every species and within humans themselves. but we do exist as part of a carefully crafted template which unfortunately was made to belong in this accursed world and in the cursed destiny of man. the earth is also a flat FIRMAMENT and not an imperfect sphere floating within a nebulous polygon

Humans aren't "animals", they don't have a single trait that identifies them as such; but instead have all the traits of viruses.

I find that to be extremely unlikely. Huge gap of fossil evidence and the fact that gene mutations that are naturally debilitating and harmful can somehow lead to creatures as complex as humans is impossible. The big bang theory itself is not logical because you supposedly have an explosion without any reactants to cause the explosion.

      >the fact that gene mutations that are naturally debilitating and harmful can somehow lead to creatures as complex as humans is impossible
They're not all or even necessarily mostly harmful. We've observed immense changes to animals on human-life timescales, to discount the possibility of humans evolving from earlier primates, you have to simply not be able to comprehend the vastness of millions of years.

lately i've been thinking about how humans are just animals, and how animals are just a collection of little cells, which themselves are alive. but it doesn't matter how conscious i am of this; i find it impossible to look at my loved ones and see them as an animal. it's probably psychologically impossible to see the "truth", so to speak.
or maybe it's not the truth, and there really is something that sets humans apart from other animals. but that's something humans can't figure out, we would need someone impartial...

      you think animal means lesser
don’t look at your loved ones and see animals. look at your cat and see a very dumb, short lived loved one.

Here’s a complete moron who doesn’t even know universes are the output of large black holes in a recursive cycle where the universe is constantly creating itself. Besides his inability to consider the scale of evolution. That’s dumb too.

I’m not going to bother with your star trek black hole fantasies. Tell me how the information in DNA supposedly appeared out of thin air. Better yet: tell me why you haven't killed yourself already if we are just animals who's only purpose is to reproduce, suffer, and die, continuing in an endless cycle forever.

Tell me how your magical god existed at all. Tell me how you know it’s the right one out of thousands, your particular prophet was the real one, and how your religion is totally right and unmolested.
          >because BECAUSE!
DNA is a self replicating molecule that generates proteins. That’s all it is. Complexity was accumulated over billions of years.

I find it amusing that you think all religions require a creation myth, and that you think every religion with a creation myth actually believes it.

you seem to have an extremely narrow understanding of humanity in general.

it's also a bit funny how you speak easily dismissed falsehoods with such certainty.

Plenty of people see the "truth", so it's certainly not impossible. But even the cell level is an abstraction, in reality the cells themselves are made of ever smaller parts, a poorly defined set of collapsed wave functions.

    >Do you think we really evolved from our monke brothers?
no, we evolved to be able to hide and mask our wild instincts behind an universe of artificial, abstract rituals and rules that regulate our lives. Trying to find a "purpose" or "meaning" for everything really fricked us up. Everything we do still have courtship, mating and reproduction reasons. We are also still highly illogical and selfish, unable to cooperate as a species even when our very existence is at stake for the sake of being "politically correct". Humanity never tackles the real problems like the overpopulation in highly pollutant countries and the bastardization of necessary resources like food and water. Instead we postpone it for the future miserable generations and focus on superficial, vapid shit while harmful societies continue to ever grow and destroy the only planet we have. To truly evolve we would need to drop the PC agenda that prevents us from analyzing our species from an objective and logical point of view, and have self sacrifice implanted in our brains.

Humans are just another breed of monke. No matter how many shiny rocks or complex textiles we adorn ourselves with we will always be apes, monkes, animals. I find it funny when my fellow apes guffaw or annoyed when I refer to our species as that - a species of fauna here on Earth. I like the concept that we are all related if not from an Earth level then a universal level
      >inb4 le star dust
All I'm saying is that we're, maybe not fungi, Earth based lifeforms. I am proud to be monke.

      > Instead we postpone it for the future miserable generations and focus on superficial, vapid shit
Such is the nature of the unenlightened monke.

i believe in intelligent design, but evolution is most likely a reoccurring phenomenon, hence the variety within every species and within humans themselves. but we do exist as part of a carefully crafted template which unfortunately was made to belong in this accursed world and in the cursed destiny of man. the earth is also a flat FIRMAMENT and not an imperfect sphere floating within a nebulous polygon

Dang, you had me interested up until flat Earph. I'm not completely against the concept of some form of intelligent design; although, probably no where near as religiously based as I presume you're alluding to. But I just wanna leave you with this after you wrote

there is nothing wrong with believing in anything, half the time it's the reasoning that matters and the other half how you perceive the things believed. however i am not religious because it would be wrongful to think someone like me practices a religion. i do appreciate the passages

Yes, and I find it amazing how special we are as a species. How our brains developed, how we can compare ourselves and humanize other species, how we theoretically evolved to become sentient, how much we have achieved, etc. It sucks tho how we may never look at how we actually truly developed as a species, at least in my lifetime.
