Birds evolved back into Bipedal apex predators multiple times throughout the Cenozoic, though none of them ever reached the size of Mesozoic theropod.

Assuming we don't yeet all life on earth in the next few hundred years, they might well occupy that niche again soon.

Creationists are very unintelligent people that can’t comprehend large numbers. You can try and educate them on the time scales required for macro-evolution of charismatic species and they will go HUH? LOTS OF YEARS? JUST TRUST YOU BRO? THIS STUFF CAME OUT OF NOWHERE IMPOSSIBLE. Over and over again. You could spend a lifetime waking them through a decade an hour and they’d say SATAN PLANTED ALL THE EVIDENCE AS LIES CARBON DATING DOESNT WORK at the end of it

And them the end times would come and it would not be jesus in the sky, but some totally unknown primordial destruction god, and everyone would die and have their spirits imprisoned in the moon for not worshiping malhzuxkclab akxunzchiclal properly

And synapsids could have also evolved just like dinosaurs since they retained their huge reptilian tails.

Evolution works pretty much the same for creatures with a similar body type, if lizard species start developing bypedalism, which some of them are, we are going to get dinosaur looking creatures. I think it's just a matter of when.

Like they did the first time. Evolving small but slender bipedalism in order to run fast and escape predation.
A lot of lizards are doing this already. They just need more time and maybe a warmer weather.

Convergent evolution will make sure dinosaur type creatures will evolve again I think this is pretty much a guarantee.

More like retaining a vein we had as infants - similar to lactose tolerance in Europeans. Micro Evolution (really, just the emphasis of certain genes and the death of others) is entirely different to the unobserved Macro Evolution (entirely new DNA generated out of nowhere).

please explain how your religion is right and not the ones after it claiming you followed a false messiah or were missing another holy book/the right holy books, and not the ones before it that prophesized a time of degeneracy and decay where the true religion would be corrupted and eventually forgotten

i'm sure it will make more sense than "a population accumulates mutations so they can no longer produce fertile offspring with others at an appreciable rate, so they continue accumulating mutations and diverging in a different direction"

let me guess, you think evolution works like this:
          >the environment changes and then stuff adapts
          and not like this
          >some stuff in the environment has accumulated mutations that don't impact their reproductive success enough to matter, and then the environment changes and they have a mild advantage
          or like this
          >all changes must serve a purpose and make the organism "better"
          not like this
          >all changes must simply not make the organism significantly worse than its competition

To turn an amoeba into a jellyfish or a fish into a salamander or a primate into a human you’re going to need to magically generate new and more complex DNA out of thin air - which violates physics and has never been observed to occur in all of human history.

          >is entirely different to the unobserved Macro Evolution (entirely new DNA generated out of nowhere).

It doesn't come out of nowhere, it's a buildup of helpful mutations over the course of gazillions of years. Before wee had vertebrates, there was a fish with a stiff spinal cord.

Uh huh. You’re aware mutations don’t add anything new, right? In reality they mean less genetic material or emphasis/de-emphasis of certain genes?

He does have a point, mutations can add and remove chromosomes. Just because something isn't observable in your lifetime doesn't mean it can't happen (like a fringe sect of Judaism becoming a globe-spanning religious empire)

Extra chromosomes aren’t newly generated information. They are a result of distorted pre-existing DNA malfunctioning around conception. No matter how many random genetic mutations occur you will never have any more or new DNA. Evolution requires a species to somehow obtain more DNA than isn’t contained in either parent. No matter how many mutations occur they will stay just that - mutations.
I have no doubt that a lion and tiger came from the same common ancestor (as evidenced by their ability to create hybrid offspring). However, no matter how far back you go along their family tree you will never find an amoeba.

              NTA but
              >"Extra [collections of DNA] aren't newly generated information."
It's not unique information but it is new information.
              >"No matter how many random genetic mutations occur you will never have any more or new DNA."
Not all mutations are simply swapping a base pair. Mutations can also delete segments of a genome or duplicate them, just like chromosomes themselves can end up duplicated or deleted. If I have a code of "ATCGGT" and that section suddenly becomes "ATCGGGGT" that would be a point mutation and specifically an insertion point mutation.
              >"Evolution requires a species to somehow obtain more DNA than isn’t contained in either parent."
No, it doesn't. Evolution is the process of change over time. This isn't limited to gaining more DNA as plenty of organisms that are related have less DNA than their known ancestors. You, as a human for example, have a much smaller Y chromosome than your ancestors.
              >"However, no matter how far back you go along their family tree you will never find an amoeba."
You have cells in your body that utilize amoeboid locomotion. How do you propose this came about? Surely it couldn't be that we're part of a group that contains loads of distantly related, but similar amoebas and the fungal kingdom... No, no, no... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opisthokont

Yes a duplicate chromosome is new information. And new places for mutations to happen.

Descent with inherent modification is observable.
Speciation in isolated populations is observable.
Organisms adapting to their environment is observable.
If you think evolution is anything other than the shit listed above, your understanding of what evolution actually is iand what it does is flawed or oversimplified to the point of being completely incorrect.

      >It’s unobservable which is alarming since it’s a science and all science is observable.
That's why it's a theory, we can't directly observe it but we have countless data and mountains of evidence pointing towards evolution being truth. Theories are non falsifiable. We know it's there we can observe mountains of data that can only be explained by evolution. It's essentially a fact we come from a common ancestor. We all share DNA and morphology. Everytime somebody attempts to discredit evolution as "just a theory" I don't automatically know they know shit about biology, but the scientific method as a whole. It's our model to explain all the evidence we can observe. It's the only thing that can corroborate our observations. We can't directly observe evolution (we can actually just not the evolution that resulted in us) Anybody who denies evolution is below midwit and sub 100 iq. We observe data, like DNA, morphology et al. and after over 100 years evolution has no holes in it. It corroborates all the data we observe, it's a non falsifiable model that explains our observations. Just because we can't obsevre evolution directly doesn't mean it's not credible. This actually shows a gap in your logic.
